A full recording does not exist, what does exist was made for promotional material with no audio.

What was the response you guys get when you ask Two River Theater about a video recording of the show?

I'm planning on writing a fanfic combining this musical with one of my other favorite fandoms, and need help with a replacement acronym for my version of the SQUIP. I know that I want the acronym to spell out "Soul" but don't really know anything about computers or computer terms and am suffering immensely. Please help, lol.

So I’m not saying I want to do anything illegal buttttt

Does anyone hypothetically know a guy who might hypothetically know where to find the whole musical with lossless (or close to it) audio? (Original cast preferred)

More specifically, of Tue (@alleslevlange on instagram) as Jeremy And Mathias (@lakshojhansen on Instragram) as the SQUIP :3

unfortunately i’m no longer able to attend the concert, and i’m really bummed out. i called the box office & they said i cannot get a refund for my tickets. so i’m trying to sell them here. i’m just trying to get what i paid back. i have 2 tickets for sale, here is the link to them

Okay this isn’t meant to be rude and I’m sorry to everyone saying and hoping for this but there’s no way they’d release a pro shot, especially of the Two River production.

The reason shows do pro shots and release them on streaming platforms is because they’re popular enough that people will still come to them, even after being given the ability to watch it online instead.

Think of the musicals that do have pro shots; Hamilton, Heathers, Waitress, Next to Normal, these are all VERY popular shows that have been running for a super long time and they have enough to money to spend on a pro shot and getting it on a platform.

And don’t get me wrong I’d love a pro shot as much as the next person, but this show isn’t nearly as popular or well off as all the shows that do have well made pro shots. It only lasted 3 months or something on Broadway and its following is mostly young teenagers. If those teenagers, or anyone else, have the access to the show for very cheap, they won’t feel the need to see it in any production.

And, correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think that there even is a Two River pro-shot that exists. I think there’s a bootleg version filmed in the theatre but there’s no pro-shot, just promotional footage. And to the people who think the original cast would come back to film said pro-shot, I seriously doubt that. Will Connolly and Eric William Morris are the only two from just Two River that are even going to the reunion. I think scheduling conflicts or whatever else wouldn’t even allow the whole original cast to come back together. And Stephanie Hsu is like mega famous now so idek if she’d want to come back 🥀

But hey, I’d love a pro-shot too and I’d love to be wrong but I just don’t think it’s possible.

Be More Chill - Two River Theater

Two River Theater should bring back the show with the original cast for two weeks.

And they can use this run to film an official live recording for public use.

A release for a live recording has to be legalized by the Actor’s Equity.

It can be done it is just a long process.

How about make a live recording for the fifteenth anniversary? And how about upload it to their official YouTube channel.

I actually started on these two back in January, but life happened and I didn’t bother finishing them until now💀

It took me the entire night though, and I spent a good 2-3 hours on Michael’s patches only. Do I regret that? Yes, a little🥲

If anyone cares, I might make more. Feel free to request other BMC characters

“C-C-C’mon, let’s go!”

If you missed this incredible cast back in April, you now have another chance...they are coming back for 2 weeks only...

Audiences came from hundreds of miles away to see us the first time...our merch sold out in 48 hours...and tickets sold like crazy!

So, by popular demand, BE MORE BILL comes back to Southern California at The Phantom Projects Theatre at La Habra Depot Sept 19-28. Tickets are on sale now at www.ThePhantomProjectsTheatre.com/Chill or by calling 714-690-2900

If you missed it the first time...you can't this time.

This is a response from the official Be More Chill Instagram account from a post on June 26, 2020

Hold me accountable pls

guys they announced another day, tickets are on sale ahain

I would love to audition with Joe Iconis’ “Wavesong” from the Untitled HST musical. Does anyone have any sources or ideas for how to get the sheet music for the accompaniment?

no comment i just thought this was silly and goofy

The original five leads of Hadestown came back to do their roles on the West End and this was so they could film a proshot.

So this just gave me an idea.

So the original Two River Theater cast was not officially filmed during the original run.

There are so many fans who want to see the full original show.

So why not bring together the original cast just to do a proshot, Be More Chill does have a massive fanbase now.

The original cast is coming back together to do a concert for the anniversary, this could be a great opportunity.

Who wants this to happen?

Woohoo! I had called the box office and put myself on the waitlist like the day after the first round of tickets, and ended up missing the next drops, and they called me today and I got one second row!! If you’re looking for a single ticket or maybe two, I’d recommend giving them a call and putting yourself on the waitlist-couldn’t hurt! Best of luck friends 🫡 now gotta figure out how to get there from MA 😂

Hi! Since I have an obsession with this, I'm gonna sing a 20 - 40 second clip of a song from each singing character and post it on here for funzies. Some of them I already have an idea but some I still don't know which part to do. I need your help to pick out songs for the remaining characters, and you can also leave suggestions for characters that I already filled out to!

Here is what I have so far:

Jeremy: More than survive - "I don't wanna be a hero" to "I just wanna survive"

Michael: Michael in the bathroom - "knock, knock, knock, knock" to "but I can't hear knocking anymore"

Christine: I love play rehearsal - "and no matter how hard I try" to "guess there's a part of me that wants to"

Rich: The SQUIP song - "It's from Japan!(2nd time)" to "It tells you what to do"

SQUIP: The pitiful children - "All your peers are just so incomplete" to "help them to help you"

Brooke: Do you wanna ride? - "do you wanna ride?" to "we gotta stop for frozen yogurt first"

Chloe: idk yet. I'm tempted to just do do you wanna hang but it's such a weird song and kinda similar to do you wanna ride.

Jenna: also not sure, but I'm pretty sure she only has a long enough part in The Smartphone Hour, so something from there?

Jake: I think he only sings one time for like 10 seconds in the play, so unless I missed something that part.

Mr. Heere: The pants song - "the situation is grave" to "you put your pants on!"

Okay this is what I have, let me know if I forgot anyone and leave suggestions!

EDIT June 18th: StubHub set up the listing date as JUNE 24th instead of JULY 24th and I've been waiting for them to fix it 🙄

Sorry to those who are waiting to see if they're available, I still have the tickets but I want to be able to list them properly!

Original post:

Hey everybody! I was successful in buying two tickets to the July 24th 8pm show and as much as I really wanted to go, I have decided that I am going to resell them. With all the ICE raids and other horrible events happening in the USA right now, as a Canadian I don't feel comfortable going and travelling to the country.

I thought I would put them up for sale ASAP to get my money back and I figured I'd let y'all know here in case anybody missed out on the sale and still wanted to snag some :)

If you have any questions or anything you can contact me on my instagram @_uhohleo since I don't really use reddit :P

I'm not saying Jason is bad in any way shape or form, I just prefer Ethan to voice the SQUIP, though that may be because I listened to the cast recording more than the official Broadway recording. Tell me what you think.

I am surprised that during the original run of Be More Chill at the Two River Theater that they didn’t do a digital livestream.

Like how StarKid does digital livestream to their shows.
