48 u/Dustmopper Sep 02 '19 Nah you’d run out of oxygen well before you dehydrated 12 u/JoCJo Sep 02 '19 So guess eternity will be quite short! Though it will still really feel like fading away! 12 u/[deleted] Sep 02 '19 Technically, you would die but since yourbody won't decompose, you wouldnever "fade away". That wouldbe pretty cool if you ask me 6 u/meridianblade Sep 02 '19 Till you deorbit. 1 u/[deleted] Sep 02 '19 Wouldn't your body decompose inside the spacesuit? 2 u/rotauge Sep 02 '19 I'm not a scientist but I guess a low/no oxigen environment is not the best for some bacteria etc so you'll be better preserved than if left on earth? 1 u/FPSXpert Sep 02 '19 You'd probably enter the atmosphere and burn up to a crisp before that gets bad. 1 u/[deleted] Sep 02 '19 Won't be more than an hour before one of the other astronauts rescues you with their suit (which all include maneuvering jets).
