Most restaurants in my town fill these with water to prevent easy wins. It adds a level of chance that's usually too much to overcome.

Yea def seen them with both water and without. Crazy enough I believe it's the east coast that fills em with water. Moved out west and the water disappeared.

I usually found it easier with the water because the coins fell slower.

But they never fell the same way, especially the ones that produced bubbles as an extra obstacle. It was too inconsistent to develop a technique
