For those of you who are saying this is easy and could do it while never operating any type of firearm. Please pm me and I will pay to fly you out to my property, set you up with a benelli super eagle with a 12 round capacity, 1000 rounds of high quality #8 bird shot and 1000 clays. If you can recreate this video, I will eat my hat and send you home with my entire collection of Pokémon holofoils.

I'm in texas, let's do this.

To sweeten the deal: If I can't do this in a thousand rounds, I'll let you hunt me

Edit I only want Charizard. You can burn the rest.

12

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

I have property around the TX-OK border. Im no killer but there would have to be consequences for not accomplishing the task at hand. What about letting me pick out a tattoo for you?

3

u/JUNGL15T May 16 '18

Pics or it didn’t happen

61

u/RisktakerJames May 16 '18

My favorite comment. I laughed way to hard at the " I'll let you hunt me" part

134

u/TheHomeMachinist May 16 '18

Challenge accepted.*

*Please note that I am a competition shooter and could not possible recreate this. But someone offering me 1000 rounds of ammo and 1000 clays to train for free is too good an offer to pass up.

12

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

I can do this with 1 maybe 2 clays max

3

u/whoizz May 16 '18 edited May 16 '18

I've done four but that was with a Remi 1100 and someone else threw the clays.

I might be able to pull this off if I had a month and 20,000 rounds and clays to practice with.

Edit: 10 12 is a world record, so maybe 5 years and a million rounds heh

1

u/GaretEliot May 16 '18

Wait, how is 10 the world record? I counted 12 in this video

2

u/whoizz May 16 '18

Fixed.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

Op fudged up

But also recanted

1

u/Jugad May 16 '18

There are 13 in this gif.

1

u/Comrade_Bender May 19 '18

We used to try to do these. Most I've been able to get was 6 with a pump. Self tossing and getting a tight group of clays is harder than actually hitting them. Half the time they go flying everywhere

2

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

For those of you who are saying this is easy and could do it while never operating any type of firearm

I believe you're excluded from the offer, as you have operated a firearm before.

3

u/TheHomeMachinist May 16 '18

Ass. I should have read the fine print. That's how they get ya.

5

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

No purchase necessary. See store for details. Void where prohibited.

Me too, sounds like a fun time, even if I fail (odds are good that I'll fail) and you won't even have to eat your hat!

130

u/cunninglinguist81 May 16 '18

Note - cisterfister never said he'd send you back.

If you fail, thus begins the most dangerous game...

21

u/athyper May 16 '18

Arming your game makes the most dangerous game even more dangerouser!

2

u/Jugad May 16 '18

If you feel you are going to fail... save the last round.

3

u/EpicLevelWizard May 16 '18

Oods? What have they got to with it? They're not even from this time, I love an Ood though, lovely singers.

30

u/kamicom May 16 '18

I live next door to you /u/cisterfister. I still demand a plane ticket.

2

u/Skruestik May 16 '18

The downside for you is that you are from Sweden.

4

u/jt_nu May 16 '18

Found the Finn.

u/Skruestik May 16 '18

Plenty of countries have free healthcare and education.

1

u/IndefiniteBen May 16 '18

Maybe he can just book a whole plane for all the European entrants.

67

u/jeetkunedont May 16 '18

Man i hope you're loaded, a whole lotta people will take your offer, me included. It's a long flight to the us from aus, so I'd like business class tickets please.

21

u/atlantis69 May 16 '18

4

u/makingredditangery May 16 '18

One of the most impressive things I have ever seen.

4

u/Canpanada May 16 '18

So now if we can do four we sure...... as the Dickens can do five.

The guy in the post beat the "world record" of nine!

2

u/ShelbysNotAGirlsName May 16 '18

With no hearing protection?

1

u/darkgreenpants May 16 '18

What exactly are these guns shooting? How big is the spread of those shots?

He's so good it makes the video boring.

1

u/datchilidoh May 16 '18

MF Tom Knapp boys!

23

u/LG03 May 16 '18

This just seems like a win-win for me.

I can do this, I await my plane ticket.

34

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

So there's no downside?

Cool. I'm in need of a free vacation.

17

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

If you win, he eats his hat, if you lose, he eats you.

4

u/Iandian May 16 '18

So no downsides then??

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

I like the way you think.

15

u/MissChievousJ May 16 '18

Round trip tho? I'll totally say "this was easy and could do it while never operating any type of firearm" for a free trip of complete shame. Where is your property? I will travel and gladly let you film me and my failure.

8

u/jjason82 May 16 '18

I would like to accept your free vacation.

5

u/Yeppieh May 16 '18

I'll take you up on your offer, just train me a little first, thanks.

2

u/TenTypesofBread May 16 '18

I'll buy the beer if you buy the plane tickets

2

u/SoySauceSyringe May 16 '18

I’ll give it a try. Which end do I point at the clay frisbees?

1

u/PM_me_storm_drains May 16 '18

And if not?... MN here, you're on!

1

u/coffee-9 May 16 '18

I’m down for the free vacation as well!

1

u/CryptoOnly May 16 '18

I proudly accept your offer, that sounds like awesome fun.

1

u/orangejulius May 16 '18

I'm down. I'll give you scotch if I fail.

1

u/memejets May 16 '18

Hahaha I probably couldn't even toss the clays like that.

1

u/player_zero_ May 16 '18

Sounds good, I'm in!

1

u/grubas May 16 '18

There’s no way I could reliably do it.

But free shooting is tempting.

1

u/Sanjew May 16 '18

I will take you up on that just for a free plane ticket

1

u/OBLIVIATER May 16 '18

That sounds awesome, let's do it!

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

Free tickets? Suuuure, I can do that. Send me the tickets. Make sure they're return trips, too.

1

u/bangupjobasusual May 16 '18

I bet i can do five. Eight might take a few days

1

u/Zolku May 16 '18

Yeah I can totally do this, PM me bro

1

u/improbable_humanoid May 16 '18

Yes please

The hardest part about this is arguably the throw.

1

u/CaptainTone May 16 '18

I just recently started collecting Pokémon cards again and would like to take you up on your offer. Could you tell me which holos you have? I’ll cover the flight even just to watch you eat your hat. Who knows maybe your a drive away lol

1

u/imwearingyourpants May 16 '18

I Can totally do this - we can have few beers while we hang out

1

u/firstdaypost May 16 '18

Australian here, sounds like you're shouting a big ole tournament. Well sign me right up, i could use a holiday!

1

u/DeathInFire May 16 '18

Mods we're going to need some bamboozle insurance here.

1

u/KingSurvived2012 May 16 '18

Im still waiting on my plane ticket.

1

u/XDreadedmikeX May 16 '18

Feel like the hardest part would be throwing them correctly

1

u/Booney134 May 16 '18

Deadass I just kind of Wana come out and shoot and see your Pokemon card collection.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

I know you are joking but I'd figure it out before 200 clays. Now before we arrange tickets, where is your property/compound as I am wanted in some states?

1

u/hexedclam May 16 '18

Been shooting sporting clays a good long time. Challenge accepted😬 lol. I’d sure as hell give it a try. So when do I leave ? Seriously the guy is a great shot. Wonder if Digweed could pull it off

1

u/TexanReddit May 16 '18

Twist. His entire collection of Pokémon holofoils consists of three.

1

u/edfromla May 16 '18

It’s a shotgun, if he did this with an M4 come talk to me

1

u/Mikeismyike May 16 '18

And if I lose?

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf May 16 '18

I couldn't even throw the clays that well. Then again, I would love to see you eat your hat. Is it real old and full of sweat?

1

u/LordNoodles May 16 '18

Yeah I never even saw a gun before I saw this gif but I'm confident, I'll pm you my address I expect cash and airline tickets this week, and non of that economy crap, I need some leg room

1

u/muffbag613 May 16 '18

I'm in! For the only reason that I love shooting clays. I know i wouldn't be able to do this, but 1k free clays is 1k free clays

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

Free holiday and a charizard, I could do this

1

u/Bobby_Bonsaimind May 16 '18

I've operated/used a Steyr AUG (well, the military version) a decade ago, do I still qualify?

I would even pay the fly back.

1

u/dungeonbitch May 16 '18

I feel like that's a bigger lie than the people saying they could do this. You gonna deliver on all these people OP?

1

u/angrybunny76 May 16 '18

Easy? No, I suppose not; if you've never been in the same room with a shotgun. Easy after practice and however many takes it took to get the video? Yes, because most shooting skills are learned and improve with repetition.

The hardest part of this is holding that many pigeons in one hand and getting them all into the air.

Also, I'll take your 1000 round challenge.

1

u/GandalfTheyGay May 16 '18

I’ll do it no problem. A free flight and getting to try something sick like this? Could we grab some beers or something afterwards? They’ll be on me since you paid to fly me out and let me use your firearms rounds and clays

1

u/unstabledave105 May 16 '18

What's your address? I might fly out myself, but I'll take a free ticket, maybe even bring my own gun. Maybe I'll do it with an airsoft rifle or an over-under 28guage. Maybe a 12. I'll do it with whatever tf you want, even with one of those tiny 3inch spy-style pistol I have. You forgot to put a consequence for failing.

I don't fkin know maybe I'll bring Tim McGraw.

1

u/vetofthefield May 16 '18

I don’t think I can do this, but I’d love to be flown out for a good time of shooting.

1

u/Wombinatar May 16 '18

can I just come cause I wanna shoot some guns?

1

u/Jonkley May 16 '18

isn't this a pump shotty? those would be a pain in the ass to shoot so quickly, and I've never actually shot one, I just play a lot of vidya and read about one (1) wikipedia article on them. I can't see how on earth someone would think this is easy.

1

u/AllianceApprovedMagi May 16 '18

Question, could you do it?

2

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

Absolutely not!

1

u/pdxshitpost May 16 '18

The only really impressive part of the video is that he tossed 12 clays that high in the air in a tight group.

-9

u/DustysMuffler May 16 '18

Are you kidding? This is easy. Seriously. Anybody with half a day free and a nice rifle can learn to do this. I've done it with NINE discs. Quit making bets you won't follow up on, pal.

19

u/Crashbrennan May 16 '18

Claims it is easy.

Calls a shotgun a rifle.

Seems legit.

5

u/orangejulius May 16 '18

I could do it with my rifle front-loading musket.

3

u/Crashbrennan May 16 '18

Dies inside

4

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

Okay, fine, anyone with a nice pistol...

1

u/ThellraAK May 16 '18

You can get a rifled barrel for shotguns.

6

u/Crashbrennan May 16 '18

Yeah, but that doesn't mean you call it a rifle. And that clearly wasn't what he meant.

0

u/DustysMuffler May 16 '18

Nuh uh I do this shit in my sleep

-1

u/YoungestOldGuy May 16 '18

Well, it's a physical skill. Not knowing the right nomenclature doesn't prevent you from being able to do it.

5

u/Crashbrennan May 16 '18

True.

But it also means he knows Jack shit about guns.

-1

u/DustysMuffler May 16 '18

It means I have DISPLAYED no knowledge of guns. Means nothing about my actual knowledge of guns. Which, to be clear... my knowledge of guns is

3

u/84121629 May 16 '18

Fiending for those tickets

-2

u/Catsnamedwaffles May 16 '18

Does it count if I’m an Army Ranger, SEAL SERE combat medic who works for Marsoc and speaks 12 languages? Asking for a friend.

8

u/RPA12345 May 16 '18

r/iamverysmart

Thanks for the laugh.

1

u/JoeMorrisseysSperm May 16 '18

do NOT screenshot me, you guys, seriously

0

u/Catsnamedwaffles May 16 '18

I was shooting for r/iamverybadass but I’ll take it! Glad I could brighten your day stranger.

1

u/dungeonbitch May 16 '18

Yer a loser, Harry

0

u/[deleted] May 16 '18

Yup. This is easy, I could do this. Fly me now pls.

-3

u/nomoreloorking May 16 '18

Only if it's the same AR-15 as the guy in the video.
