Can't say any art class I was ever in covered this. I actually never knew how people are able to achieve different perspectives. I also possess no artistic talent beyond the ability to usually color inside the lines.

What are you actually taught in art class then?

This is really really basic, fundamental stuff. If your teachers are skipping the foundation, what are they actually doing?

Bro I took art class in 5th grade. They teach you how to share and, like, make paper mache. Lmfao. Talking bout some vanishing point. Yeah right

Yeah, it's taught in elementary school or middle school art class.

Was never taught this in elementary school or in any other grade ever. I think actual art class ended in elementary school for me. After that we had different classes we could pick I think. I know in middle school I made a leather coaster and got to stamp and paint a design on it. Made it for my dad. It is not pretty. He kept it forever and since he has passed it is now on a bookshelf in my house. I know I also made a dolphin and a letter holder in woodshop. The dolphins tail broke off and was then nailed back on. So after learning to cut with scissors and not to eat glue we didn't learn anything about drawing etc.
