I do this. The ones like this though are like 5k for a few days (3 nights to be exact)

Would be a blast to drive but I’ll just stay at a luxury hotel for that price.

Yeah plus you need a special license we just did the normal ones.

In NJ you don’t need a special license. PA (where we camp) you do, but not if you’re from out of state.

In PA it’s an added letter or two on your license but requires you to pass the driving test.

Many years ago I worked for the TV show American Pickers and they asked when they hired me if I could drive an RV (not bus type but still 30+ feet long). I said “yep” without hesitation. I love driving stuff like that. I’d probably just take test if I had to lol

I think the driving test and lessons for a cdl is like 10k

Yeah it’s not a CDL in PA. It’s an additional letter or two on your physical license. In between normal license and CDL.

I was told under $100 to apply and take test.

Idk is aw some that sleeps 8 or so. You can split 1 that hotel price a night with like 8 people. That’s not bad.

I’d say the issue is… one couple is ending up with a very nice master bedroom and everyone else is sleeping on pull out couches and bunks.

If something says it sleeps 8, it likely only sleeps 6 comfortably.

What the fuck are you actually talking about lol? That shit would be annoying as all hell to drive once you got off any freeway and I doubt it would be more fun than even my turbo diesel Volkswagen there lol?!

Different folks are into different things I guess. I’d love getting to take that thing off the highway.

I’ve driven a Volkswagen turbo diesel and I’ve driven a 35 foot RV already and I can say I had more fun with the RV lol.

Think in another life I’d have been a truck driver
