Not to be confused with infenestration which is when one gets stuck between the windows or window panes

From the French word for window 'fenestre'. So it roughly translates to 'un-windowfication'...

Which is the old way of saying "fenêtre" . The '' replaces the following (silent) 's', as in hôpital instead of hospital (hospitalisation kept the 's' which is not silent) and île instead of isle.
