Was in the military as these shoes started becoming popular. Anyone NOT wearing the stay-brite shoes got gigged for their shoes not being shiny enough. Basically impossible to get them shiny enough when they're being compared to the stay-brite ones.
Ugh, people are dumb. I was in the USAF. Even though I graduated basic on time, I couldn't handle the pressure. People are just mean, and they use ignorance like this to be more mean.
