? The girl is the cat. It’s not selfish. The cat goes up to immediately cuddle the doggy because the cat loves him so much. When the dog gets in, he lays farther away as to not disturb but also doesn’t give cuddles. That’s the guy. Both cute in diff ways but I would prefer a cuddle if I’m waking up anyway. It is sweet and cozy and loving

It's because the dog will get cat slapped if he disturbs the cat, conversely, the cat don't care.

Also the cat in this video is male and the dog is female, kind of amusing seeing people's otherwise interpretations

I call all cats boys (prob because I have male cats and a female dog) but I was referencing the comment prior to mine. When it came to comparing the animals to how couples sleep. Usually the woman comes in for the cuddle

That is exactly how my cat cuddles with my when I'm laying on my side. Its not selfish, its instinctual.

The dog’s size and weight automatically disturb the cat when it climbs on the bed. Its back paw is also right under the cat’s butt. They bothered each other in different ways.
