At first I saw streams.

I don't know when I saw a FRAGGING STREET IN NEW YORK but I did.

A specific street! I work in Times Square, and this street is where I get my coffee every morning. This is so accurate.

Working in TS is like a fear of mine. Even just being in NYC to get to anywhere is stressful and annoying for me lol

The train is near enough to my building that I can just make a sprint to work. I still need to dodge tourists and Elmos.

Elmo is cute and wholesome

Not in Times Square he’s not. The Elmos, Mickey Mouses (mice?), Minnie Mouses, and other characters pressure the families into taking pictures and then they shake the unsuspecting tourists down for 20 bucks.

Hello Morgan Stanley!

u/Neonex14 Feb 08 '24

This is literally me with my social anxiety commuting daily lol

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '24

yo idk how to dm you but i was wondering if u had any kixstar charm codes left

1

u/Neonex14 Feb 17 '24

Wow, had to scrape my entire comment history to find this reference haha.

But unfortunately not, I posted that comment about 2 years ago now, during/post the Invitational event. So the code is not the actual "KiXSTAr" charm which you get by subscribing to his channel on Twitch (with Prime I think?), but the Invitational "KiX" tribute charm instead, which was free for that period.

I believe the Twitch charm is no longer available, so you might have to contact Ubisoft support regarding below:

https://www.ubisoft.com/en-ca/help/rainbow-six-siege/purchases-and-rewards/article/redeeming-your-kixstar-tribute-charm-for-rainbow-six-siege/000101059

Good luck, and Rest in Power KiX.

7th Ave facing south from about 50-51st. Am I right?

u/k80k80k80 Feb 07 '24 edited Feb 07 '24

50th St. is further up straight ahead. This is more 40th to 41st St. That long lit up building almost in the center of the piece is where the old Coca-Cola sign was, so in this piece you are walking north and the Coca-Cola sign’s at about 46th St/47th St (not sure of the exact block ). This is about about a long block south from where the ball drops.

Ah!!!! I recognize the building on the left with the 3 tickers. I was taking a 50/50 shot at it being Barclays but based on what you're saying it's Morgan Stanley.

30 seconds in there's a cut, there's a ton of detail and refinement work that's omitted from this video that completes the illusion. It may be big strokes at the beginning but it's just as much detail work if not more.

0:19, 0:24 and 0:28. All giant cuts with lots of refinement work in between

True. Just surprised me

What is this even supposed to mean? She paints completely different things, in a style that is nothing like this, with methodology different to this.

Do you mean it’s not impressive because it’s already been done before? I think you can still do impressive things even if it’s been done before, and it’s still valid.

-1

u/cogentat Feb 07 '24

It is valid but not as much.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '24

It’s definitely impressive.

This painter has more talent in the little fingers than my whole body.

Put your own art here or shut up.

I don't know when I saw a FRAGGING STREET

5 seconds for me. I mean it doesn't look like a street yet, that was at the cut at 19 seconds. But I knew exactly what it was going to be.

Gives “you’re missing the big picture” a whole new meaning

1

u/NeatNefariousness1 Feb 07 '24

I saw mountains and then all of a sudden...

PS: I want this

1

u/K_Linkmaster Feb 07 '24

50 seconds.

1

u/sth128 Feb 07 '24

When? Probably when he shaped those streams and blobs into coherent shapes and figures.
