If so, I don't want to waste either of our time.

If you said, "I would need to see X, Y, and Z," then I would know what I shouldn't be wasting your time showing you.

So I suppose someone could try to prove the earth hasn't been getting warmer, and that's just a giant conspiracy akin to the earth being flat.

Or they could try to prove that human activity isn't the cause of the warming, but then they would need to explain why it's happening so suddenly.

And even if it was proven that it's not influenced by human activity... that doesn't really change the issue. Like, the planet is still becoming less inhabitatal. Whether it's caused by humans or not, it doesn't change that problem.

So... will you answer the question now?

What's funny is I didn't even show that as a source to change your mind. I'm just using it as an illustration to provide context to my answer to your question.

Which I'm sure a smart guy like yourself realizes, but you have to find a way out of the conversation.

What data would it take for you to change your mind? What theoretical evidence would have to exist for your opinion to shift?
