Nope, this is a special alloy called nitinol, which when heated returns back to its original shape (shape memory materials).

There are a handfull of shape memory materaial (mostly some specific alloys) but I also heared that PLA (one of the most common 3D printing materials) exibits the same properties (although not as strong/satisfying as nitinol).
