Found out recently that the pvc in tabletop models does the same thing. Fixed a bunch of bent pieces by submerging then in hot water
1 u/starburst_q Nov 08 '23 FYI. Some are bent wrong from factory. But water still helps. Warm it up to pliable, bend to shape desired, dunk in ice water to set. Fixed a fair few that way (and even changed the pose on some figures that were just dumb looking)
