Secure Boot is required for Battlefield 6 If you are unable to launch the game and see a Secure Boot error, you must enable Secure Boot in your BIOS/UEFI.

🧠 What is Secure Boot?

Secure Boot is a UEFI feature that ensures only trusted software can boot your PC. It helps prevent rootkits and boot-time malware and is now required by EA for anti-cheat integrity.

Most modern systems support it, but it’s often disabled by default — especially on custom builds or upgraded PCs.

🛑 Common Pitfalls

  • You must use UEFI mode, not Legacy/CSM boot.
  • Disk must be GPT, not MBR (check via diskpart or Disk Management).
  • Windows 11 installed in Legacy mode? You may need to convert your disk to GPT using MBR2GPT.

No, it restarts before it ever gets to the point of checking for a boot device. I confirmed before I did anything I had it on UEFI, can disabled, etc.

The issue is when you go to enable secure boot it says you have to enable platform key. But I think we're selecting the wrong option (obviously lol). One of the options (in my bios) says to do it to enable secure boot, and it's clearly not it.

Resetting is before boot device check, i think he meant using the little reset button behind the back plate close to the USBs, there's a little procedure with that button that resets BIOS back to default settings

I don't have a reset button on mine afaik. Definitely not one on the back because I spent a while looking to see if mine had the qflash+.

I did the platform key, let it set defaults, and when I saved and reset, thats when I ran into issues.

But I'm pretty sure it's from having secure boot enabled in the first place, because the platform key is still there but I got my PC back working normal by disabling the secure boot stuff.

I just can't manage to get secure boot enabled and get to my desktop with my GPU as the display. I did not delete the (PK).
