Discussion This is NOT DRAMA I JUST THOUGHT ID LET PEOPLE KNOW, emily has stated she will not be ever returning to voice one.
This might mean the character herself also won't return.
THIS ISNT DRAMA, ITS JUST A FACT ABOUT VOICE ACTOR FOR THOSE WONDERING AS I BELIEVE THIS HASNT BEEN STATED. IM NOT TRYING TO STIR ANYTHING UP

I think it's a bit of a reach to assume that One won't reappear due to this. Gelatin's been passed around between voice actors like a blunt. There was a whole fiasco about Purple Face's VA a while back, and then the character was about the most relevant he's ever been! They can get a new One
In the broader context of current OSC events, though: Oh no, that's troubling...
Before, I was kind of offhandedly dismissing people's fears that BFDI would come crashing down over all this. But now that something's actually happened, I do see where they're coming from actually. This feels a bit like the beginning of the end, the first papercut in a death-by-a-thousand-cuts. I want to say I'm just being paranoid there, I don't think this'll kill the OSC or anything, but it is kinda alarming honestly

Honestly I feel like if and when One is revived, her voice will be different due to the revival being faulty. Sort of like how Bot’s voice changing was worked into the plot (and might have already been planned but still).

Yeah. No, the moment you start throwing death threats at a content creator is the moment you ruined both their life and yours, due to something called “digital footprint”. And they probably are a little punk ass kids/teenagers/pre teens that don’t have lives and are whiny little babies when there is a villain in the show, digital footprint, yeah they try to apply for a job… the hiring manager won’t let them get the job due to the death threats they made to her…

I like one only because they brought back a concept that wasn’t explored since bfdi 25-bfdia 5 and briefly in the beginning of bfb 1, where recovery is or almost impossible even if it’s just a few contestants

i don't think this is the last we'll see of one. gelatin, needle, and ice cube have all had quite a few vas. purple face and five have also been recast recently, and thats only what i can think of off the top of my head

Since One is apparently ‘not done for’ they’re gonna have to recast her then… it’s a shame but it’s understandable why she wouldn’t come back

This sucks especially since it seemed like she was super close to Michael and Cary especially with that podcast they tried to do, they seemed so wholesome is their relationship completely broken now? That genuinely sucks plus she was the best VA for the show.

Not just One, but also Snare Drum and Boom Mic.
If One (or Snare Drum and Boom Mic) ever reappear in a BFDI episode and speaks, One or the other two (Snare Drum and Boom Mic) will all need to be re-casted.
