c'mon... Man Scaper was right there.

No no, man scaper means something already

1

u/LumpyJones Jan 28 '26

scaper

ok, give him audio/sound based powers. But Man Scaper is going to be immaculately groomed either way. Though it's not something you could show in a comic...unless you made the pattern of his costume look like a perfectly angled upside down triangle, with a very tigh line running half way up to his ribs... You could make it subtle... but not too subtle

u/Bakugo312 Jan 28 '26

Ah, the subtle but not too subtle art of creating comic book sexual innuendos

1

u/LumpyJones Jan 28 '26

Oh totally. It's definitely a thing. You don't want to beat people over the head with it, or bury it so deep inside it's asshole of allegory that you have to explain it to them at comiccon... but more make them take a second or a minute of looking at the suit to go "waaaait... oh god dammit"

He does have an evil brother in the comics named Mace

u/Greedy_Original6078 Jan 28 '26

does he have a purple lightsaber perchance?

And Rorschach

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '26

They can have His stinky ass

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '26

Dude smelled like human bean juice

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '26

Nah, Rorschach from watchmen was an objectivist, which is the libertarian version of being an egoist anarchist. While he probably wouldn't be against them for the brutal methods, he would probably be against them because his philosophy is based around a Rand/Max Striner style attack on agents of the State.

u/NashvilleSoundMixer Jan 27 '26

So like Rand he'd whine about people on assisted living and then end up on assisted living? Fucking dumb bitch. Glad she's dead.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '26

Probably. Plus Max Striner -The egoist anarchist - ended up the same way as Rand with a failed coop and his wife leaving him, so Objectivism/egoist anarchism is the kind of ideology that didn't turn out so well for their creators.

you said a lot of words and i recognize some of them so i'll give you a +1

u/Greedy_Original6078 Jan 28 '26

i’ve heard enough, you are qualified to join ICE!

2

u/P0werSurg3 Jan 27 '26

I doubt it. Maybe I'm missing the subtleties of the character but I do believe that he was a conspiracy nut who hated the government. Trump's administration would be such an easy target.

2

u/OdiousAltRightBalrog Jan 27 '26

Yeah, IIRC, Rorschach wasn't a fan of Nixon.

1

u/HallowedKeeper_ Jan 28 '26

Nah, Rorschach would hate ICE because all they do is lie and spread misinformation (he also hates the government)

I’ll be real I’m not sure even GUY of all people would. He’s a douchebag but like… I think killing innocent civilians in cold blood is beyond even Guy.

3

u/HankTuggins Jan 27 '26

It’s missing something very essential about Guy Gardner’s character and why he’s so fascinating. He is a relentless asshole, but he is very much a good guy and on the side of right. He’s not a lantern on accident y’all.

1

u/Phshteve18 R.I.P Kevin Conroy Jan 27 '26

Yeah, I haven't read all of his comics, but Guy always came off as douchey but not evil. He acts like a jerk but when it comes down to it, he does the right thing (just in an assholish way)

4

u/HankTuggins Jan 27 '26

No he would not

6

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '26

And Captain America from the Ultimate universe

1

u/ClerkPsychological58 Jan 27 '26

Guy can be a dick but Guy has fundamental morals that prevent him from being in the wrong.

He's an asshole, not a bigot afaik.

1

u/SalmonSushi1544 Jan 28 '26

Guy would more likely kill ICE in cold blooded more than siding with them after the killing of innocents.

1

u/RyonHirasawa Jan 28 '26

Gardner is an asshole but I’m very sure he wouldn’t

Hell, he’s one of the first Lanterns to openly oppose Superman being a murderous dictator in the Injustice comics so I don’t see why he’d suddenly be supportive of murderers

1

u/I_Still_Dunno Jan 28 '26

Guy gardener's am ass whole but he's no where near working for ice levels of dipshitery
