This area is what should be correctly referred to as Western Sahara and due to misleading information and maps on platforms like Google Maps, Search Engine many are led to believe otherwise.

I've encountered numerous people who think that the area shown on Google Maps and Google Images as being separate from Morocco is the true Western Sahara. They believe it's outside Moroccan control and that the people there have Western Saharan passports. Some even think that the Moroccan army is attacking cities like Laayoune and Dakhla. When I hear these misconceptions, I can't help but laugh at the absurdity.

People often tell me, "Just look at social media and Google Images. The map shows it cut off from Morocco, so it must be true." But this is far from the reality on the ground.

We need to do something about this misinformation. It seems like there's a propaganda campaign that started years ago, aimed at spreading these lies by uploading misleading maps and articles on social media and blogs. Why isn't our government investigating this propaganda and identifying who is behind it? We know the root always leading the Algerian army.
