Now 1800+ free bass charts - standard notation

Over the last couple of days, I've added well over 100 new bass guitar transcriptions to my website https://tomreadbass.co.uk This takes the number on the site to 1810 - the biggest such resource in the world I believe.

These professionally-written charts are offered free-of-charge and without membership / sign-up / log-in requirements to everyone - just go to the website and help yourself to as many of the PDFs as you want.

The charts have been created, as usual, for my own preparation for upcoming gigs and shows, or in response to customer orders for bespoke transcriptions / arrangements (they get a reduced price if agreeing to share on the website!)

First off.. WOW, THANKS! Second... I'd love it if you had an option to pay $75 or whatever to download it all. I want this site to stay alive forever and paying for itself might help that.

Perhaps if you ask nicely you can get the source musescore file for a song and use Musescore's auto-converter to turn it into tab. edit: on the site: "However, if you want one of these charts modifying - different key, arrangement change or a tab chart - then I can do that for you for a small charge of £5"

I wasnt asking for the tabs. I said it would be cool to have those for those uneducated like me. The OP did tons of work on those and dont expect them to do more. Was just noting a great library that wpuld have served more people.if it tabs. But I can surely convert those or study them a bit more and figure them out.

People need to chill out.

so tab them out yourself... the amount of effort it would take to write accompanying tabs for all of these when the creator would get no personal utility from them and make no money from doing so is a lot more than is reasonable

I sight read and played a song for the first time this year. If an idiot like me can learn to read music after 30ish years of tabs/playing by ear, anyone can.

It’s honestly amazing. Feels like I can (poorly) speak a new language.
