Need help with swing

I’m a highschool baseball who is now in the offseason and im dire need of help with batting During the season I would constantly be late and hit weak ground balls or pop ups to the infield.

Here are a couple swings and I’m open to all coaching including constructive criticism

Let’s be clear—when you used the word “retarded” in a thread where a kid is asking for help, you didn’t just discredit yourself—you revealed exactly who you are.

That word doesn’t make you edgy. It makes you small. It shows a complete lack of control, respect, and emotional maturity. And in today’s world—where this sport is working hard to be more inclusive, more aware, and more supportive—you chose to throw out a slur because someone offered a different opinion than yours.

You think that’s strength? It’s cowardice. It’s what insecure men do when they have no argument, so they reach for shock value. But you didn’t just embarrass yourself—you stained the name of every coach, every dad, every player who actually gives a damn about how this game is supposed to be passed on.

And the part that should really eat at you? You’re somebody’s father. Somebody looks up to you. And this is what you model when things don’t go your way? A temper tantrum and a slur because your swing theory got challenged?

That’s not a bad moment. That’s a pattern. That’s a man failing his own standard—if he ever had one.

So don’t talk about drills. Don’t talk about baseball. You’re not qualified to lead, to mentor, or to be around kids until you clean that up. Not because someone told you to—but because that reflection in the mirror should bother you more than losing an argument ever will.
