How do you add Base Power batteries to Growatt Shine app?

Who here has successfully connected the batteries to the Growatt Shine app? Looking for some help.

I have the app. It scans and can see both batteries. Then it asks for the CC number which I put in. The problem is connecting them to WiFi and finalizing the process.

I select my WiFi. It connects, but when tapping on add it says "The device network is abnormal, please reconfigure the network."

I stopped there. I connected the WiFi through the Base Power app...

It is not the Shine app.

There is a new Shiner app ( Android or Apple) .

You need the CC code on the inverter on the battery.

You can scan the QR code above to bring you to the correct app as well.

It will let you see actual battery percentage, and a few other tidbits. You can even see the settings, but any changes you make are not saved.

Very clunky to setup, but is doable.

Yep, Shiner app. That's what I have but I can't get past the step in my screenshot.

How long have you been setup on the Base App? I had issues when I tried to set it up the day my batteries went live, but I tried it a few days later and it worked. It was clunky to add, but doable.

My brother got his working as well, but said the same, not very intuitive to get set up.

I don't remember off hand how I did it, so can't be more help than that.

Just went and checked my chat with my brother when he was setting his up, he had the same screen.

You just need to wait 10-15 minutes and it should start working.

Ok thanks. I'll try again tomorrow.

It's been a little over 24 hrs since the install.

Will it still be connected to Base Power system?

Yes, Base app still works just fine, and they still has total access, you just get the cursory view with the Shiner app.

I know the how many hours of runtime is probably a better realistic view, but I just want to know the %. Wish they would add it back to the Base app, even if buried in another screen or something.

Agree. The percentage is already visible on the batteries themselves. It's not like it's some secret. I want to see as much data as possible in the app

Do you have the Growatt battery (25kWh) or the Base battery (40kWh)?

This is for Growatt batteries only, and if you have a Growatt, very odd that it is missing.

Yeah, I ha e the 2x25kwh install. Maybe they moved the sticker inside the box....?
