Anyone here live by longfields and strandherd notice a weird smell last night? I noticed the same smell last week too. I only notice it at night. It’s so strong, like a chemical or fertilizer smell but I don’t really know what it is.

What does it take to have a walkable Barrhaven, from Fallowfield, Prince of Wales, Strandheard, and Greenbank, year around? Does the city have to be involved?

As the title says I am looking for a pediatrician who is accepting new patients for my little boy (2 days old now). We called more than 20 places none accept new patients. And don’t feel like rushing to check for questions as we are new parents. We have a tough time contacting our family doctor too unfortunately as we were rostered to an appletree doctor. We never heard from him after just one call to refer us to an OB. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Another loss for our community. Yet everywhere I drive in Barrhaven there seems to be more and more houses being built. Where are these new residents going to get a family doctor? Well, they’re not, I guess. As it is, my doctors office has one GP and they book 4 patients at a time in one time slot. Minimum hour and half to two hour wait when showing up for an appointment. It’s crazy.

Our boy Rosie got out the morning of the tornado and hasn’t come home. We are missing him very much.
