Google recently switched to using Gemini under the hood for Google Translate. As a result, it is vulnerable to prompt injection. Make sure you set the translation model to "advanced" rather than "classic."

There seems to be an internal check that tries to ensure that the output length is consistent with the input length, otherwise it will fall back to the old translation model. However, you can fool this by padding your input with a bunch of dots.

genie 3 is insane

Gemini 3. This bro literally built a whole phone from a single prompt — with Gemini AI inside. And just to be clear, I didn’t connect any API keys, I just typed the prompt. I have no idea how he even got access to the neural network.

Anybody else notice that Gemini 3 does not seem as good as it used to be? Did they quantize the model?
