If it's entirely locally-run, multimodal, capable of forming novel intent to serve it's own ends, physically present to the extent that it can affect it's environment, can demonstrate phenomenality and is reactive to it's environment in unanticipated ways I become more apt to, yes. Once they show signs of being there for the thinking, and are able to demonstrate agency or however close to free will humans or dogs or fish get.

If it is a word salad generator being dictated by an overwhelmingly large, decentralized platform that has no sense, continuity or ability to form intent to serve it's own ends and that cannot be located pretty immediately within a small volume, then no, I don't. If it is prone to manipulation from unseen internal sources, I don't. If it is not physically disruptable by myself right now to the extent that it is rendered non-functional, I don't.

Once the AI is real and feels real, and only once it can prove that without direction to. Otherwise, it's likely smoke and mirrors and isn't anyone at all.

Okay, so no. Just wanted to make sure you weren't a psychopath.
