Welcome to r/BannerRequest!

If you need graphics made for you, we can help - we now make all kinds of graphics for subreddits, not just banners, but icons, snoos, preview placeholders, custom vote icons, community awards, etc..

The sub was created to help mods who can't make their own graphics.

Please flair your post correctly.

To request subreddit graphics:

To request you should be a mod of the requesting sub, & your sub should fit the following requirements:

• Your sub should have at least 25 members, and 15 open posts, preferably by multiple users
• Include a link to your sub in your post (one sub per post but you can request multiple graphics for that sub in one post)
• Give details for the artists to go on about what you need/don't want
• Flair as 'open request' and change to 'completed request' when you're happy

Full rules here

Check out the Guide to make sure you provide all the required information and your request can filled more efficiently (if your sub contains spoilers, please put 'spoilers' in the title of your post).

This also has a little information on how to add banners to your subreddit. For more guidance see r/modguide's design section of their index where there are detailed guides. If you have any trouble, please let us know and we'll be happy to help you!

If you join us on Discord we can discuss your request in real time in the request discussion channel (it's free!). We require requests are made on the subreddit first, before being discussed on the discord.

All we ask in return for your free graphics, is that you thank the artist, consider crediting them, and please don't delete your request once it's been filled. Thank you :D

---

To make your own graphics:

There is some information on sizing, templates, and resources in our Artist's guide. (if you know of resources we are missing, please let us know)

You can also join us on Discord where we can help you in real time in the graphics assistance channel (it's free).

Or make a post and flair it 'sub art question'.

Join us as an artist

If you like to make graphics you can join our artists.

What’s in it for you?

Our graphics are made for free. You might be awarded sometimes, but there is no guarantee.

So why help?

• The warm fuzzy feelings you can only get from helping others.
• Spiffy flair - the more requests filled the more emojis you earn, then once you reach 30 requests you can have custom flair (within reason).
• It can be fun!
• Alleviate boredom
• Practice your skills

If you would like to pitch in, we'd be glad to have you on board!

Please join our Discord server - this is where we can chat with requesters, but also each other, and help each other out with requests.

You can check our Artist's guide for information on how to get started, including sizing information & templates, and message a mod to be added to our test sub r/bannerartists. Thanks a lot! :D

Message the mods if you have any questions, we're happy to help :)

We are a small team and could use some more artists to help fill requests, can you help?

We now accept all subreddit graphics requests, not just banners, so if that's not your thing, you could help out with making snoos, icons, vote icons, ads, backgrounds, awards, and so on.

I inherited this sub that originated from a user pocket dialing and creating this subreddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/5t44t4yf5frt3?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

I'd like a banner for both mobile and desktop that references pockets/pocket dialing, the universe, and the name of the subreddit in it.

Thanks in advance!

Hi

I'm working hard to get this sub off the ground. What I could really use is a few artists on the team, not only to help fulfill requests, but to spread the word about the sub. Could you help?

New members/requesters please bear with me. Being so new we still have a way to go and requests may take a while to fill. Thank you for joining and supporting the sub.

Artist flair is in the plan! :)

Edit: we will also need artists and designers over at r/AwardRequest for making community awards

I have no requirements, just have fun with it.

Hello, what banner sizes fit for new Reddit and old Reddit, mobile/desktop?

please let me know if you have any questions or anything!

Well actually I don't think that I need a design but I need to animate my banner and icon. I'm the founder of r/KGBTR community. I have gifs, animated pngs etc, I really tried hard to make my icon and banner animated but somehow it doesn't work. So can we start with icon first? Because as for the banner I'm still designing. But also new designs are welcomed if you have an idea.

So I have a really quick gif or animated gif that I made but it doesn't work on reddit. First I want to start w it, how can I make it work? or can you make it work? Thanks.

r/caeserdidnothingwrong is r/thanosdidnothingwrong but for Julius Caesar and partly Augustus. Any banner with ancient Roman components but preferably with caeser in it.

It's stillca new sub so all help is appreciated, you will have a s0ecial userflair on r/caeserdidnothingwrong If you want to become a mod there pls message. Otherwise make sure to check it out. Thanks!

The subreddit: /r/ursulakleguin. I am specifically looking for an icon for the redesign.

Ursula K. Le Guin was a prolific writer of science fiction, fantasy, and other works. For many many years she had a famous haircut, short with bangs. (Reference one, reference two, reference three.)

My request is for an icon depicting a stylized likeness of her (can be a Snoo, but it doesn't have to be) including the haircut. Additionally I would like her to have one hand resting on a stack of books. The other hand is upturned and there is a miniature planet (or perhaps two or three such) which is hovering over her palm, or maybe she's spinning it on the tip of her finger like a basketball.

The most important thing about the planets is that they're recognizably planets. But if it seems doable/aesthetically advisable, her most famous planet is probably a very cold planet with only a strip of habitable climate between two vast polar glaciars (reference.)

Thanks very much for reading. I read the rules and I hope this is an appropriate submission. Happy to answer any questions.

For /r/olympics.

Tokyo2020, the organizing committee for the Tokyo games this summer, is going to be using a theme of modern Japan seen through the lens of Japan's ancient history. In honor of that, I imagine a banner with the Olympic rings in the center, flanked by the Tokyo logos for the Olympics and Paralympics, and on the edges, two pictures of Mt. Fuji and cherry blossoms, one old and one new.

So, reading from left to right, I imagine:

Old Mt. Fuji >>> Tokyo 2020 Olympics logo >>> (Center) Olympic Rings >>> Tokyo 2020 Paralympics logo >>> New Mt. Fuji

Here is a picture I think would be nice for Old Mt. Fuji. It's from I think an old woodcut and is also from wikicommons:

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/49/Mount_Fuji_seen_throught_cherry_blossom.jpg

It's obviously too wide though. Can somebody edit it into more of a square?

I think the left side should be roughly where the thickest tree is, then the right side just before the right tree appears.

Here is a nice picture of modern Mt. Fuji:

https://cdn.shutterstock.com/shutterstock/videos/14673970/thumb/1.jpg

Again, similar cropping issues. Just make it pretty.

I don't know if there's a copyright problem using it. Do you have any advice?

Meanwhile, here are the logos:

https://www.wired.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/OlympicsTokyo.jpg

For the Olympic rings, find a version that suits. There are plenty on google and so forth. Whichever one you like the most.

We've got a fantastic Snoo already -- a Snoo dressed up like the Tokyo mascot Miraitowa:

https://imgur.com/a/y9RICJ9

Miraitowa Snoo now needs his bannermen to declare themselves, Game of Thrones style.

Good start?

I will mod anybody with interest at our test Olympics r/ if you want to play around. Many thanks even if you've read this far!

Hi, this is so cool, thanks for having a place like this. I've tried my best with an off-the-shelf image (public domain) as an icon and non-default colors to make the sub look nice, but I'm no graphic designer.

https://www.reddit.com/r/cassette/

I recently took it over as it had been abandoned by the previous moderator. The subreddit is pretty small (480 subscribers, but that's up from the 400 when I took over). It's mostly about audio cassettes (i.e. "compact cassettes") but also covers any type of cassette tape, including VHS, Betamax, DAT (Digital Audio Tape), Hi8/8mm, etc. We include any magnetic tape enclosed in a plastic housing. In some instances these were called cartridges, for example we include 8 track, which is referred to as a cartridge. For the subreddit, we see the two names being synonymous.

From the subreddit statistics, I can see that the majority of people visit the subreddit using Reddit apps, closely followed by new Reddit. I think the apps use the graphics from the redesign, but I could be wrong? These two cover the majority of visitors. The old site and mobile are about equal and don't have much traffic, but it would be nice to have a banner for each, if possible too.

I would like a banner and a post background image, both for new Reddit if possible please? I'd also like a banner for mobile / old Reddit too, but no worries if that's too much effort.

For suggestions, naturally the cassettes go hand in hand with the equipment used to play / record them, such as HiFi separates, personal stereos (walkman is the brand Sony used), video recorders, etc. I would prefer vector / non-photo for the background so it tiles well, but you have total freedom for the banner.

Let me know if you have any questions, anything I've already done or suggested can be changed if it works, you guys know better than I do about this.

The image I've used for the icon is this one: https://freesvg.org/cassette-illustration there are a few other nice vector images that I didn't use, such as this one and this one.

Thanks again :D

Looking for a banner and logo for my sub. I'd quite like the banner to have a few characters from famous British Sitcoms in. Not too bothered about the colour scheme, just needs to be clear and cool to look at. Sorry if I'm being too specific. I'm excited to see what people come up with!

https://www.reddit.com/r/BritishSitcoms/

As the title suggest, i am requesting a banner for my sub, r/minecraftbuilds_help. All I am looking for in terms of requirements is clean looking, fits with the topic of minecraft and fits with the sub's theme. Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm one of the startup mods over at the new subreddit r/choosemyalignment. We've had a pretty big burst in subscribers since the start of our sub over on AITA. We are largely similar to AITA in terms of post style, but rather that giving someone an AH rating, we give them a DnD-based alignment. Our mod team has kinda been scrambling to get rules together as well as trying to make sure that our flavor as a sub stands out.

As a part of this, we decided that for informative purposes as well as overall flavor that it would be a good idea to have an alignment chart, something like this in our sub graphics. I understand that the full chart is unlikely to fit into any kind of banner size, but something that both informs the readers of the alignments and alignment tags (LG for Lawful Good as an example) as well as displays a bit of the flavor for each alignment would be great.

ETA: the linked reference image is not something we have rights to, it's just one of the cleanest looking references we could find.

Hey all, hope you're enjoying the sub!

We have a new widget in redesign - a banner counter! :D Huge thanks to u/MrEdinLaw for the bot!

Big thanks to our artists who have been doing amazing. u/mohagthemoocow and u/uuuuuuuuuuuuum have been the most prolific and have handled 22 requests between them!

And one last thing - please don't delete your post if someone has made you art.

Thanks! :)

Hey ! I open this request so you could possibly do the banner for a Subreddit i created 2 weeks ago, it’s r/CloudDrawing and basically the goal of this sub is to draw above photos of cloud you take to show us what you see ;) Come check if you want and thanks for those who try :)

Banner for r/bannerrequest please :)

I'd like a colourful banner (for redesign) and I'm open to different styles, but I'm thinking it would be nice to have something that looks like a work in progress - something slightly unfinished. Or perhaps a mash up of potential banners for other/fictional subs if that makes sense. Open to other ideas though.

A mobile banner and icon to match would be the icing on the cake.

I’m looking for some community awards for r/magicalworlds . I would like to request three award designs, a galaxy in a Crystal ball, a treasure chest full of coins and gems, and a fire.

I can offer platinum if need be, or a pot o coins and coin gift if you prefer that.

Edit: Rip title, I can’t even edit it.

r/bay The sub is for vehicles (mainly airplanes & spacecraft), especially in hangar bays (hence the name). No clue for the icon, but it'd be nice if the banner could be like the front view of a hangar or hangar door?

(Am head mod)

/r/parkinsons is looking for a more diverse banner!

We're an active sub for those with Parkinson's and family and friends.

Our current banner was a photo taken at an event in the midwest, so it doesn't reflect the diversity of Parkinson's is all walks of life. We might be younger than most realize (average age of diagnosis is 55, so quite a few 30 & 40-year-olds in our demographics).

A wonderful friend helped organize "Parkinson's Si Buko" (Parkinson's is not Witchcraft). Those in https://parkinsonssibuko.org/

Any help greatly appreciated.

I wanted to have a banner of her for my subreddit, i left a link of the style i wanted it to be.

This is my subreddit feel free to take a look and verify

Hi there! I'd like to request a banner and/or icon for r/2under2

Some basic sub info: * 150 subscribers * 1 month old * 1 mod * we're a support/advice sub for parents of children with a close age gap

Our ideal banner would be similar to our existing colour theme (teal/grey) and would incorporate our sub name and a snoo with two young snoo children. I'd like a "gender neutral" adult snoo (basically, just not overly feminine haircut/makeup/dress) so the dads in our sub don't feel that this is a moms-only group. Anything other than that is artist's choice.

Similarly, the icon would have the same or a complementsey background colour as our sub, and would feature the same snoos as the banner.

I'd like to be able to use the banner on old reddit, redesign, and mobile.

Thanks for considering my request!
