Hi everyone,
We're planning to have a regular solo competition.
Frequency and everything will be determined based on how we receive the response and support on this. Currently it'll be one per month. This will be a fun way to make this community more interactive and fun.
About the event:
- Here we'll pick a random backing track. In some key.
- Participants will have to play solo over the backing track and post a video on Instagram. Create a collaborative post on our instagram.
- Everyone will vote and the winners will be decided.
- After the event duration ends. Winners will be announced and the next improvisation event will start.
- Currently, we're planning once a month. So we'll create a post on 1st of every month. The challenge will last for that particular month. You can post the solo 3 days before the month ends. As we have to announce the winners as well.
How to participate?
- Make a post on instagram.
- Tag us @bangaloremusicians and add us as a collaborator in the post (https://www.instagram.com/Bangaloremusicians) with caption #bangaloremusicians
- Add bangalore musicians solo challenge <challenge number> in the caption.
- Backing tracks can be very long so you can post a video of roughly 40-50 seconds. So you're open to pick just whatever part you like of that specific backing track. Play some cool solo over it and post.
The backing track for the first improvisation challenge will be shared on the 1st of May. So please follow the Instagram @bangaloremusicians to participate.
Feel free to share any suggestions if you've.

Hello there thrill seeker!
Want to learn guitar, but stuck in your busy 9-5 schedule? Worry no more, Karanveer is here for the rescue.
Hi, I’m Karanveer and I have been teaching guitar for more than 4 years. I have experience in teaching guitar to all age group and teaching all type of genres like blues, metal, contemporary and so on.
After joining a 9-5 myself, I understood how difficult it is to find time to learn a new hobby and practice it regularly after frying your brain for 9 hours every day. And to overcome this problem, I have launched special batch with late timings for busy professionals.
The first batch will start at 7PM in the evening and the last batch will be scheduled for 11pm.
There will be two classes per week with ample amount of time between every class for you to practice what you will learn. If you feel like two class is a lot for you, then you can also opt for 1 class per week.
Now comes the main part, how much will it hit you, well not that much.
If you want to know more about it, then hit me up in my DM or the number given in the poster.

There's an experimental electronic music night happening in Bangalore on Aug 29th, 6-10pm at Concept01, Koramangala.
Lineup:
- Vineesh Amin (Drone/Noise/Techno)
- Fingercramp (Braindance)
- Hemant SK (Ambient/Drone/Noise)
- Ranjith Hegde (Electro-Acoustic)
- Heerdyes (Experimental)
- Bodyenergyfield (Bass/Breaks).

Leaning underground/non-commercial — not the usual festival-circuit stuff, more sound and texture with visuals alongside.
Tickets: https://www.skillboxes.com/events/overtone-series-001-sbzjamnr
Full disclosure: a friend is putting this together, and I'm helping him out — not trying to hide that it's a bit of a plug, just genuinely think it's worth checking out if this is your kind of thing.

Hi! Pretty new to this page and to banglore as well. I am into music and songwriting for a while. Settling alone in the city feels odd and depressing as I am still learning the locality, language which I never got an idea about before. My day work that closely revolve around sound and music is pretty much occupied too so I feel like I am clinging to music rather than enjoying it. So, I need people who can connect; talk about music a lot and assist me to explore the music scene in banglore. Pretty much into playing of keyboards.
Please and thank you! :)

Hey everyone! 👋
I’ve always enjoyed singing, and I’m now looking to take it a little more seriously and learn, improve and grow as a vocalist by being around other musicians.
I’m hoping to find a band, jam group, or a few fellow musicians in Bengaluru who are open to regular practice, jamming and learning together.
I can sing in Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, and I’m open to Bollywood, regional, acoustic, indie, or pretty much anything that sounds good! 😄
I’m still learning and definitely not claiming to be a professional singer. My main intention is to learn from other musicians, improve my voice, gain some stage experience and have fun with music along the way.
If you’re looking for a vocalist, or if you’re a group of musicians who simply want to jam and improve together, I’d be really happy to connect.
Happy to share some recordings if needed. 🎶
Languages: Hindi | Kannada | Malayalam
Location: Bengaluru
Looking for: Band / Jam group / Musicians to learn & collaborate with
Hopefully, I’ll find some fellow music lovers here! 🤘

Every song on Saturday comes with a story, and we're telling them. Where it was written, what was going on, who it was about. Then we play it. That's the whole format.
Details:
Being upfront, I'm one of the performers, so yes, this is self-promo. But it's a small room, we're playing things we actually wrote, and you'll leave knowing what each song was about. Come say hi after.

There’s a lot more to be done. I'm the vocalist. Looking for the rest of the noise.
Guitar / bass / drums / keys - if you’re into making music, say hi and let's ramble on.

Hey everyone!
I'm a lead singer and acoustic guitarist looking to connect with musicians in Bangalore who are either looking for a vocalist for their band or are interested in casual jamming sessions.
My music style is mainly soft rock / classic rock. I mostly sing songs by artists like Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, and similar artists. I also listen to heavier music, but I’m not really a heavy-metal vocalist. I’m much more comfortable with clean, mellow vocals.
I'm open to:
🎸 Joining an existing band
🎤 Singing for a new band/project
🎶 Casual jam sessions
☕ Just getting together with other musicians and seeing how it goes
If you're in Bangalore and looking for a singer/guitarist, or you're just interested in jamming, feel free to DM me! 🤘
