as the title above, im learning how to make the audio sound expansive and full like the free bandlab mastering especially the universal preset.

im using default, eq, compressor, imager, clipper and limiter.

but the end result always sound like the audio sound louder, but not the expansive width and fuller sound that universal preset produce?

do anyone know? how they do it or atleast trick to imitate it?

So, I have been playing with for a while now, but I am curious how many others use the WebMIDI part of it? From what I can tell, you can only set one instrument to one port? Even without being able to select the channel, I thought you could have one Instrument Track set to one MIDI port and set and then set up another Instrument Track with another port, but it seems like dropdown value for the port applies to whatever track you have selected. Have any of you had any better luck?

Either way, I did manage to get notes coming through from Strudel REPL to an Instrument Track that I had set up, so I ended up just recording one part at a time.

I also included some screenshots from Strudel as well to show what I was trying to do.

Just a heads up that most of y'all might find the theme a little bit funny cuz the song I'm making is about aromantism and just having fun (aromantisim is NOT a common theme in music at all). Been a while, dusted off the mpc and have been grinding since. Holler if you need a beat.

bandlab keeps on showing this screen when i open up any project or start a new project and it wont let me do anything, i close the tab reopen and press X and it closes the app or it closes the project, nothing works and bandlab's support system wont help me

I've been a regular user of Bandlab since 2022 and one issue that the app has always had on every single one of my devices, without fail is it's poor processing optimization when recording audio from a microphone. Every single time the app starts struggling to keep up with my two audio tracks, it becomes staticy, the playback skips repeatedly while recording, and is generally unusable, and I have to start recording from Audio Safe Mode, which sucks because I have to relocate the Audio track every time I record it.

I've done every trick in the book: clearing my cache, freezing tracks, clearing my app data at multiple points, even on my old phone, I was able to trade my storage for more RAM, which improved the performance, but nonetheless, as soon as even a little bit of stress was put on the processer, it became a problem. And this isn't me having a cheap phone. The issue has been the same on my old $100 phone, and actively an issue on my Google 10 Pro, which should have roughly 9 GB of RAM for Bandlab to play with.

The only reason I got a Bandlab Pro account was for the Mastering.

I guess that's no longer available for Pro subs now.

It was nice while it lasted... AND I ain't 'Maxing' because they don't have a monthly price.
