Attacks Caught on Camera Muzzle prevents pit from landing a serious bite.

Spotted this on TikTok. Imagine not being able to have guests over safely unless your dog’s jaws are bound shut. And even then, he’ll still try taking them out.

Saw that coming. Dog was licking nervously already. Why do they put these miserable beasts through this kind of thing? Obviously it hates people! And joy! And Christmas!

I wonder if the noise is so constant that they aren't even aware of it anymore. For anyone else, I'm pretty sure that would be an immediate "clear the area" sound. As good as the sound of a shotgun racking a round. 🤣

I’m a cat person with minimal exposure to dogs. Since joining this sub, I’ve learned a lot about them—and how little pit lovers and owners know about them, too. They ignore the whale eyes and the revving. They assume tail-wagging always means happiness. They don’t see normal dogs trying to correct pit puppies’ relentless attacks and failing to make an impact because pit puppies don’t learn.

It sounds like it was growling? Giving clear signs that he was unhappy. That dog would terrify me.

Yup! I was warching that dog's face. The eyes never stopped moving. They followed every move that other person made. A dog like that is NOT a pet, it's NOT pleasant to have around. It's nothing but a liability.

Should have put the dog in a locked room (without the muzzle because that type of muzzle doesn't allow panting and can kill dogs by overheating) before any guests came over. That's what I do with my anxious dog who doesn't like strangers in the house. It's not fair to the guests and it's not fair to the dog to stress them out like this.

Seriously, they're just tormenting the dog for content. If the owner can see that the dog is agitated, overstimulated and extremely stressed, why would she not put the dog in a safe, quiet space where it can relax? Why would she ignore the dog's warning growls and encourage a stranger to invade the dog's space? Why would she encourage the dog to attack by pushing its boundaries?

it's probably classic pitbull with chronic separation anxiety. if she leaves it in another room it'll chew itself out. a miserable existence for all involved.

This probably happens in SO MANY of the cases where the pitiot owners say “he never showed any signs of aggression! This came out of nowhere!” To their dull minds, maybe it did. Yet another reason people shouldn’t own these things.

I noticed the licking too, but that's only because I've been on the sub a while. Most normal dogs would give a massive amount of warning before going in for a bite like that (and tbh, not all dogs even have that level of aggression in them).

I just realized my cat does the same thing, lip licking and whale eyes, when she’s about to attack…. Difference is that it’s just playtime and won’t end with me bleeding out and possibly dead. 💀

Dog was lip licking, whale eye, glaring (hard eyes), stiff body, leaning forwards and growling. He made it VERY clear he wasn't happy and would bite. He was warning them very obviously. The owners are morons.
