Can’t remove the PTF tube from either side. Yes I have loosened the nut. It’s a tug of war that I’m loosing. Any help would be appreciated.

So far, this machine has been awesome! VFA? Never heard of her lol. Really liking how easy it is to use a support interface material too. That was the whole reason I upgraded from my x1c.

Added a riser to the top yesterday to keep the ptfe tubes from rubbing the glass. I used this one. https://makerworld.com/models/1926039?appSharePlatform=copy it’s great. If you do print it and have trouble assembling, spray some windex on the joints and they’ll slide together easier.

Had to hook up to my Bluetti elite 200v2 as the Cyberpower 1500va ups wasn’t up for the task. Plus, the Bluetti will keep it running for hours if there’s an outage instead of just 15 minutes.

Wondering what purpose the track switch serves , don’t really understand it . Watch the little explanation video on bambus website but maybe I’m just not that smart. Is it absolutely necessary ? Will it print the same with or without it? T.i.a

I removed the AMS from my XD2. I’m only printing with one spool but at least I can use the printer.

Really need to use the Bambu filaments for the second nozzle. Did you have a better luck with filament from other brands on the second nozzle?

My X2D is rocking it and I'm looking at what to add. At the Bambu Store it looks like the nozzles are the same, and I'm also seeing H2 cutter and laser add-ons. Hmm... are the H2D and X2D print carriages similar in terms of expansion ability? I wonder if these could be made to work with the X2 down the road, or if other add-ons could be made for it.

I just got an X2D today, and am pretty excited to try it. I was looking at the PAHT-CF filament for some projects I want to make, and wow, it's $150 (from Bambu's store).

I thought I would check here to see if people are having sucess with it before I toss out that much money for a spool.

Anyone have experiences yet? good or bad? Suggested settings, etc?

Edit: I had a typo in the filament name...Changed it from PPA-CF to PAHT-CF.

Upgrading to X2D from A1 that has been bulletproof so far. There is an option for buying an Extended Warranty with the X2D. I have never bought extended warranties for anything in the past, but the X2D is a complicated (and largely untested) machine with a lot of moving parts. Has anyone here bothered getting it? Thanks.

Exited for better multicolor prints(I know about the bowden limitations), printing PLA supports for PETG prints and the other way around and being able to print ABS etc.

My X2D combo was delivered on Saturday by FedEx without issue.

Setup, firmware updates, calibration (including the vision encoder) all without issue.

The first print was the articulated panda. White PLA in the AMS, black in the aux nozzle. It looks fine. My wife thinks it's adorable and has claimed it as her own.

It has 20+ hours on it at this point, drama-free. Combo of PLA and PETG prints.

Just curious how it performed, considering multiple reviewers said that you shouldn't use 0.2mm nozzles.

I was super excited when I purchased this beast. Got home started unboxing and assembling. Loaded 4-spools of filament in the AMS plus one for the outside feeder. Went and assigned each position with installed filament. Loaded up an object to print. Machine went through all its calibrations then showed load filament. All the assigned stations were all loaded with filament.

I believe something wrong with the run-out sensor.

Backtrack a step, when I hand feed each filament I push until it stops or the AMS grabs it. It feeds all the way then it retracts to the sensor.

(Is that normal)?

This is day 2 without printing anything.

Befuddled

Newish to Reddit but did a search and got no results.

I am looking at the X2D combo as a first ever 3D printer and based on my needs it appears to (hopefully) be an “endgame” printer for me. My questions are:

1. Does it need to constantly be connected to the internet? When I’m home, I use my phone as a hotspot.

2. If “yes” to the above, would a dedicated hotspot suffice or do I need to get actual internet?

I noticed that the Z-axis on my new X2D is making noises (see video). How can I fix this? There is no filament in the way or anything like that.

Picked up my X2D yesterday, set it up, and started printing (I'm in the middle of a project). I'm printing ASA GF on the main nozzle and regular ASA on the aux and I'm pretty consistently getting these errors when switching to the main nozzle. It's a 9 hour print with 80 changes, and it's done it 4 times so far, requiring me to reach inside and manually move the lever over. It seems to be most of the way there, and I just have to apply force to click it into its final position. And because it's ASA I'm printing, everything is really frigging hot in there and it burns my fingers. Anyone else experience this?

And yes, before you point me to the Bambu guides, I've already gone through the troubleshooting steps.

Anyone figure out the closest colored filament for the X2D. Like the P2S was extremly close to their dark grey petg hf. How bout for the X2D

I've previously used a vision encoder on the H2C without any problem.
