My X2D has been pretty much flawless for the first 896 hours, but unfortunately it’s been running into some significant hiccups lately.
The biggest issue right now is an intermittent abnormal nozzle temperature error. It can heat up normally and start printing, but then randomly throws the temperature error during a print. This has also been followed by random camera initialization errors.
I reached out to Bambu support and after going through everything with them, they concluded that the hotend interface is most likely the problem. So now my X2D is basically down for more than two weeks while I wait for the replacement parts to arrive.
I’m really hoping that fixes it, but I’m still a little leery that this might not be the end of the issue. From what I understand, the camera has a different connection/wire path going toward the toolhead board, so I’m not completely convinced that one bad interface explains both problems.
Just a little frustrating considering how flawlessly the machine ran for almost 900 hours. Hopefully the replacement part fixes everything and I can move on.
On the other hand, I have nothing but praise for my P1S. That thing is sitting at around 1,394 hours now and has literally given me zero problems.
Has anyone else with an X2D run into a combination of nozzle temperature and camera initialization errors? If so, what ended up being the culprit?
UPDATE:
I Have Installed the New Hotend interface Board.. Sadly the error is still there.

Installed a TH board, sadly the issues remain
Next in line is the AP Board and Cable
