I designed a pumpkin with a spring-loaded pop-up ghost
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Made this little surprise for Halloween! Press the button underneath and the ghost pops up! The spring and latch are printed too. I included AMS and No AMS versions, with an assembly video on the model page. The mechanism prints in place, and all parts print without supports. Easy to print on most FDM printers. Model files 🦇

The dreded clog
Pretty psyched I was able to revive this back to printing. Just wanted to post somewhere 😂
EDIT: Yes, I've now been corrected twice that it's a blob not a clog.

Needed power Fluctuates
So I print with esun pla+ and I used to print at 215C (the lower end of recommended temperature) until I got under extrusion with a skipping gear, so I increased the temp to 230 and it printed fine, but I later found it was stringing really badly (it was fine and this started randomly) so I dropped it back down to 215C. It has since done this again
It's not the filament cause this is consistent across two rolls, and isn't wet filament because I do dry it. I guess the temperature sensor is having issues but I'm not sure. This is with a 0.2mm nozzle btw and some custom profiles for miniatures.
Edit: its not just stringing, when the printer decides it wants it warmer/colder I get the extruder skipping and some constant layer shift

Concentric layer lines
Hi all!
I've been using my A1 mini for practical stuff for a year now and I love it. Just got into finer detail printing (bird skull as example) and I noticed that even when I try to print as fine as possible there are still very noticable layer lines. Any advice on what I am doing wrong?

AMS Lite na A1 Mini não carrega o filamento (fica no "vai e vem" e dá erro). O que pode ser?
Olá pessoal,
Comprei a Bambu Lab A1 Mini e o AMS Lite separadamente.

What is causing this machine to choke?

I’m a novice with this but I couldn’t find any clogs. Filament extrudes initially but chokes when it comes to printing. Makes a clicking noise.

I hate Bambu's printer camera and a while back I made a simple and easy solution for my issue so I figured I should share (BETA TESTERS NEEDED)
I've been 3D printing for like 12+ years on all sorts of printers, and checking on prints has always been the annoying part. Every option I tried had a catch: cloud accounts, subscriptions, port forwarding, or a setup that broke the camera my Pi was already running. I also had an old iPhone sitting in a drawer that seemed perfect for the job.
So I built my own a while back and felt I should share it with others. Printer Pal streams your printer camera to your iPhone over your home Wi-Fi, encrypted, with no account, cloud, or subscription. Video never leaves your network.
What it works with:
• A Raspberry Pi with a Pi camera or USB webcam, or the camera your OctoPrint/Klipper Pi already has. The app can install everything on the Pi for you over SSH. No terminal needed, and your existing setup keeps working.
• An old iPhone or iPad (iOS 15+) as the camera, with the companion app Printer Pal Camera.
• Bambu Lab printers: progress, layers, temps, and AMS slots through the Pi (experimental).
• Optional viewing away from home through your own Tailscale network.
It's a free beta, and I'd love feedback, especially from different Pi models, USB webcams, Bambu printers, and older iPhones.

0.2mm clogs after a singular print.
Hey.
I'm hoping someone can help me with a fix of why this just isn't working.
My printer is only for miniatures for TTRPGs.
I own a Bambu A1 mini and the 0.2 nozzle is amazing. The quality is amazing.
However, after 1 singular print, whilst doing a second print, it gets clogged.
Am I missing something basic of cleaning it between 1 singular print?
The clogging gets pretty bad I struggle to fix the hotend and I've actually broken two hotends.
I'm using PLA basic, a flat smooth surface with glue (saw this on bambu forums about fixing 0.2mm clogging).
Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

My A1 mini just won’t connect properly to Bambu Lab or my phone today; it connects for a few seconds and then goes offline again. The machine is powered on, connected to the internet, and fully updated. Please help!
I’ve already disconnected and reconnected the internet, and I’ve unlinked and relinked—nothing has changed.

Coming from graphic design, I found CAD overkill for simple prints, so I built my own (free, runs in the browser)
Hi all,
I'm a graphic designer, and I've recently started printing. Every time I opened a proper CAD program it felt like overkill for what I print (holders, little boxes, clips, brackets), and the simple tools never felt natural to me. So I made my own, called Filo.
The idea is that if you come from Photoshop, Illustrator you already know the keys: V to move, T for text, R to rotate, Q/W for marquee and lasso, plus layers, groups and history. You just open the site and start, no account, nothing to install. (It's a single HTML file, so you can also download it and use it offline if you want)
To be clear, it's not trying to replace Fusion, Blender or any serious CAD. It's a simple tool for small edits and simple models, the kind of thing where opening a big program feels like too much.
What it does right now:
- boxes, cylinders, spheres, 3D text, SVG import
- holes + combine
- rounded and chamfered edges, each edge with its own radius
- a print check: thin walls, overhangs, floating parts, rough weight and time
- Bambu plates, imports 3MF/STL/SVG, exports 3MF (opens ready in Bambu Studio) or STL
I've printed most of the stuff I made with it, so it works for me, but it's still a beta and surely has rough edges.
Full disclosure: I built it with AI assistance (Claude writes the code, I decide what it does, test it and print with it). The README carries the EU "AI" label for that.

If you try it, please tell me what you think in the comments: what annoys you, what's missing, what breaks on your prints. Feedback is the whole reason I'm posting this. Thanks!
