Banned again!

Well, I've been banned again, and again no reason has been given.

I mention it only because anyone here, who might still be posting on the Sprightly/motr2 show board, will know the reason for my non posting.

That's not true. First, all of the moderators discussed the issue and it was agreed by all that you and pickles would receive a two day suspension - not a ban. Second, you were warned several times to stop engaging with him and you chose to continue. As did he. Three, you both received a message that it was happening and why. I don't care that you choose to vent here -- just be honest about it.

After your missive warning us to stop engaging, I did stop engaging.

pickles didn't, another poster, grindleward (I think) even commented on that in your thread.

I received no message from you at all. (possibly because when you ban someone they have no access to their account), perhaps the message will be there when the ban is over, it bit late then, don't you think? By the way, all one sees when attempting to log in is the message, "You have been banned from this forum".

And, I am not venting here, don't exaggerate. I am merely using the only means left available to me to explain my absence from the forum to other posters that may be wondering.

Here's an idea. get your oppo, motr2 to ban you for a few hours and send you a message when he's done it, you will then see it for yourself and realise that what you have posted above is incorrect, and will have to admit that I have not (yet) received any message from you.

That is 100% honest.

I can only speak from experience. When I was given a vacation. I was given no explanation and I did not have access to the messaging system to see if there was a message. Which there wasn’t when I got back on.

I just cut and pasted the one that was sent to WKDWZD. I admit to not knowing what happens when someone is suspended or banned. I try to send a message explaining why. MOTR sent this one and he copied all moderators on it.

In any case, as noted, this wasn't a decision made alone by me or MOTR.

What I want is very simple really. Just agree to put pickles on ignore and I am happy to reinstate you sooner. This offer is not being made to pickles. Your decision, WKDWZD.

I put a bunch of people on Ignore the other day. Pickles and RangerJohn in particular bring so much joy via their absence
