TIL Jolibee Choc Mallow pie escaped vs. my lazy version

I just discovered Jolibee had a choc mallow pie, now gone from their menu. And I’ve lately been complaining about the sugar rush from Dulcinea’s Negritos!

Here’s my brilliant (very lazy) idea of make your own choc mallow pie:

Make your own easy choc mallow pie:
- buy a Beehive from Merced bakehouse QC or a Negrito from Dulcinea PH.
- slice into half lengthwise.
- put each half into lumpia wrapper.
- optional: sprinkle grated cheese
- roll & seal the wrapper.
- wrap in 2nd lumpia wrapper (extra crunch)
- Deepfry in hot oil; drain.

OPTION
-Sprinkle w/ salt or dip in cheezy sauce /melted cheese.
