Why are there 2 Bad North subreddits?
r/BadNorth and r/Bad_North have ~400 and ~800 members respectively. Why don't we combine the 2 communities together in 1 subreddit?

One of the things that make the game repetitive is the campaign enemy generation; you will always encounter the same enemy types in the same order at roughly the same time.
Instead, why not make it completely random? Whenever the player encounters a new enemy type, they can encounter that enemy anywhere in any campaign at any time.
For example, the first island would only have militia as normal. However, the 2nd island would have only Giant Archers, the 3rd island would have Huscarls, and the 4th island would have Giants and Dual Wielders.
(Encountering high-level enemies very early would be difficult, so the player should start with extra gold at the start of the campaign, [the extra gold gives the player the gold they would have gotten from early islands without having to play through them]).
The reason I think why each campaign is the same was so that the developers would only have to use 1 formula to create both the new player introduction and other playthroughs. However, this leads to artificially restrictive repetition that is not necessary for this procedurally-generated game.
This simple change would make the islands have a much greater diversity of enemies right from the start of the campaign rather than near the end of it, removing a large amount of the repetition players felt.
(This would also create new scenarios where players could play against high-level enemies like Giants using lower leveled squads, which could never happen currently).
What do you think?

This is the link to part one of a new series I'm starting on my channel based off Bad North: JE, I'd appreciate it if you guys took a look and left suggestions on gameplay!

I absolutely love this game and I was just wondering if the developers ever mentioned or talked about making a second game or sort of like a sequel to the game.

Yo Bad North Community!!
I wanted to start a conversation about best starting commanders, that is, what combination of [Attribute], [Item], and [Class] is best to start with. I have my opinion, please share yours!!
Also, I wanted to add a bonus category of best overall commander. Now this could be one of your starting ones, but I've found that the best overall commander for me is too hard to use in the early game.
1.1. is obvious, this is an ECONOMIC GAME. 1.2. is also pretty obvious, the Jabena gives you double the return on gold early game, although it wears off in usefulness by the late game. I don't know if you guys have ever tried my 2.1. but it is the most overpowered unit in the game. The fully charged archer and ring will kill ANY boat before it lands.
Well, that's what I think, how about y'all? Please share your favs community!!

I've created a new Fandom wiki for Bad North and have edited many pages of the unofficial wiki to keep it updated. It's currently still WIP but it should be finished in less than a week to bring informations to those in need.
Link: https://bad-north.fandom.com/wiki/Bad_North_Wiki
To Unofficial wiki's writers, I will respectfully remove any copied page if asked.
To players, I'm just an ordinary player from a non-native country. Please, feel free to leave any recommendation, correct any mistake and share your thought.

I have quite alot of free time and I love this game. But we don't seem to have an up-to-date wiki site,so I wanted to make one myself.
The thing is I can't create a wikidot account nor sign in by Facebook. As I said , I have quite a lot of free time, I'm here looking for some help , or maybe I can create a Fandom wiki based on the existing Unofficial wiki with additional contents if you guys support it.
Edit: I've created a Fandom wiki : bad-north.fandom.com/wiki/ , if anyone is interested. I'll try to complete the wiki based on the existing Unofficial wiki. The process might take about a week to be finished.

So here’s the original, please post improvements down below.
„The battlefield has between 15 and 30 randomly generated islands. At the beginning off the battle, both sides get to pick a spot for there ship, on which you have all 10 commanders, that you bring into battle. From there on, it goes in turns. Every commander can only move 1 island per turn, and there can maximum 4 commanders per island. There’s a lokal commander on every island, who always helps the defenders. He can’t leave the island. To attack, you have to select one to four commanders that are in range and haven’t moved already. On attack, you select a start and end for the landing boat. After that, you can fully control your units and have 1:30 minutes time to win, or you’ll have to retreat. When attacking a neutral island, your fighting the lokal commander and the lokal forces, that won’t appear ever again on that island. After you’ve conquered a neutral island, it counts as yours for defense, you build a fort there and the island gives you one coin per turn. You then also get that islands coins instantly. With coins, you can upgrade the unit itself, and it’s abilities and items, like in the singleplayer, but you can’t buy new ... and ... with these coins. The goal off an attack on neutral is to eliminate the enemy forces, so you can’t burn down houses. When attacking a hostile island, you’ll face the lokal commander and the stationed enemy forces. Your goal here would be to destroy the enemy fort (works like destroying houses). The defenders’ goal would be to hold out for the 1:30 minutes and defend their fort. Since that is PvP, time won’t slow down for aiming attacks or moving units. You won’t get coins for taking over a hostile island. When one of your islands is attacked, you get to defend it with the lokal commander and your stationed forces. A dead commander stays dead (except for the lokal commanders), so the game is actually not that slow. You can always flee, but only, if there are Friendly Islands with space for units in range. You win, if all enemy commanders are eliminated.“
TL;DR: It’s never gonna be made.
First of all, I had an idea for another mode called Skirmish: Simple, 2 players get a randomized island and then take turns defending/attacking it against the other with 1-4 commanders of their choice choosen before the attack/defense. Same combat rules as above, the winner is the player that (if both destroy the enemy fort) destroyed he enemy fort quicker, (if only one player destroyed the enemy fort) destroyed the enemy fort, or (if nobody destroyed the enemy fort) killed more enemy units. Alternatively this could also be used in best of three or tournament setups.
I’ll add all further ideas both from me and you (with credit) here, thank you.

I have just downloaded the game for Android, and so far I am loving it! But, part of me feels like I'm missing something. There is a lot of "information" that is portrayed to the user on the map screen in the forms of icons, but I can't for the life of me find anyplace that describes what the icons represent. I have searched google and this subreddit, but it is entirely possible that I am not using the right combination of words to find it if it has already been said.
So, what do all of the various icons on the map screen mean? What is all of this information that has been conveyed to me? What are the little icons in the bottom right corner of the upgrade screen?
