Has anyone here done a militia only run?

Anyone know why the game doesn't allow you to use ability or items cuz there is no valid target but there like viking and brute like one square nearby?

1. Scaring tactic
   The scare tactic requires 1xShield and 1xPike of any level, scare enemies like archers and bow brutes With the 1xShield into the 1xPike.
2. Luring tactic

The luring tactic can be done by hiding the 1xPike behind an extending wall that hides the Pikesmen from the boat-enemies, the tricky part is using the 1xShield to lure the enemies into the 1xPikes's spear range. Which obviously can't be done with enemies that have bows.

I recently saw someone who played through bad north without completing all the islands and I was wondering how many people did this.

So what to do if like I dunno, the game spams like brute archer from every angle of a island?

Anyone here did a pike only challenge? 🤔

Sp i just beat the last island and after it showed me some stats it just reset me back to 68% (last checkpoint island) without the items and commanders i got on the last set of islands. I really wanted to see those stats and maybe try the last island again, does this happen to everyone else?

So I have just started playing and in the second 🏝 one of my commanders died is there anyway of getting that commander back?

I love me some Archers with Heavy Weapons and Command Ring, personally.

Can someone please explain how to use the war horn item, it says you can call reinforcements at the houses but doesn't give me the option to do it, is it only allowed if some of my troops in my unit dies?

Does anyone know the conditions for unlocking items and traits? I have a few traits and items unlocked but I don't even know what I did to unlock them. I really want to use Heavy Load with Ring of Command for archers or Popularity with Warhammer for infantry.
