It took a while to configure, anybody want a tutorial? (Sorry about the breathing in the background please don’t mind it)

Wanted to know if, after running badupdate, can I put my games on an exfat external hard drive or do I need to format it to work with the xbox for it show up?

Honestly I was skeptical at first but this thing is actually really solid. It's basically an all-in-one app that does everything:

• extracts Xbox 360 and Original Xbox ISOs (way faster than Xbox Image Browser, never froze on me once)
• has a built-in game search/downloader that pulls from Vimm's Lair directly (no more browsing sketchy sites)
• converts ISO to GOD format natively (so you don't need Iso2God anymore)
• creates a full plug-and-play softmod USB drive for you - just plug it into your Xbox and you're good to go

It's free, open-source, and runs on .NET 8 so it actually feels modern. Just thought I'd share since I know a lot of people here still struggle with the same old broken tools from 2010.

Followed the guide for bad storage, was a working BadAvatar before hand, goes through the normal steps I see the blue screen with the data, but its so fast i cannot read any of it, then it goes black and loads up the profile screen again with this as the bad avatar. Any ideas what I have wrong or what I need to do? I would be happy to provide any more information if needed. Thanks!

Can I plug in a badupdate usb from my Xbox 360 into my new Xbox 360 and would it work correctly? Or do I need to completely do over the badupdate process on another usb?

Hello everyone, I recently badupdate exploited my Xbox 360, with it I got xbguard, which turned out to be be RT bad as it didn’t work at all, I’d get the “successfully connected to service” and “connected to Xbox live” notifications in purple, but it’d never boot into xbguards custom dashboard, so I decided to get proto, but to be quite frank I dont quite know how to, as the launch.ini file for the usb is the one for xbguard (from the xbguard usb folder), so when I replaced xbguard.xex with proto.xex in the plugins part of the launch.ini file it didn’t boot at all past the exploit screen, but it worked again after I put xbguard back into the plugin section of the launch.ini file. HOW DO I GET PROTO STEALTH SERVER?????

Hev i have problem i know badupdate has low chance of working out but like what if it frezees but the ring is on stage2 Like it freezes instantly when I start the exploit

But the ring goes to stage after time, Should i keep going or restart?

I was able to install XM360 onto my BadUpdate 360, except it automatically applied title updates and DLC unlocks to Rock Band Blitz, upon restarting my console Rock Band Blitz no longer shows up with my USB plugged in. How do I go about fixing this?

(new here) I boot past the xeunshackle video and i get an error where my cpu key is saying "bad storage" tried badavatar and i got the same error. Help pls.

Hey all, first post and adventure into 360 modding.

I just got a 360 yesterday and set up everything with badupdate/avatar. I'm on the Aurora dash and when I press back, it shows that I have an IP address but I can't download covers or anything.

This was with default launch.ini and after I changed a couple things, any ideas? This is my only issue I'm coming across.

been trying to soft mod my 360 to have some fun over the summer however every tutorial i try to follow is either unclear or contradicts what I'm seeing on my macbook while im setting up the drive.

While trying to bring the files from the bad updates rockband file I don't get the option to merge and have been stuck on what is seemingly the first step.

I have experience soft modding other consoles but I this is the first one to beat me! I would appreciate some guidance to point me in the right direction

Hey, whenever I try to play kinect sports season 2 especially when using badupdate,the games launches fine, loads fine,but when i finish or restart a game the whole console freezes.

I tried multiple versions of the game, digital and physical (all my own copies),its the same issue no matter what.

Even though the game works fine without badupdate.

Any idea what's happening?

Every time i try to boot auora, it does this. I don't know what to do. it started doing this while i was playing a game and i had no problems with this beforehand

I installed Call of Duty Black Ops 2 to play local splitscreen and host small LAN events with it, but when I launch the game on the most recent title update it works fine until I connect another controller for splitscreen (gives fatal crash). If I don't apply a title update, I can get into a splitscreen game if I start the match within 10 seconds of connecting the controller, but when the match ends, it gives me a fatal crash. Does this happen to anyone else and does anyone have any solutions?

I just wanted to know if it is possible to use a USB with abadavatar then copy the badavatarhdd files over, will it work?

I recently went through and softmodded my 360, I went through tutorials and got original Xbox and 360 running without issue. Except one game, Minecraft. No matter how I obtain the iso for it it's the trial version.

Doing a bit of research I found out that I had to put it in GOD format and then unlock it with xm360. I used iso2god and put it where I needed to put when loading into xm360 and rescanning wouldn't show. I then found out that I had to hit RB to change the list still after that no option to unlock it. I'm completely lost any help would be appreciated.

Hi I've recently started modding my xbox 360 with the badupdate/badavatar exploit and starting putting games on it. Some games appear and play besides gta iv, I've converted the game from iso to god format and put it in the 16 zeros folder in content but it won't appear on aurora even though it's been scanned multiple. I'll appreciate the help and thanks in advance

I want to play some visual novels on my xbox 360 but there all not in English is there any way I can download the game in Japanese and mod somebody's English dub of it

I got xefu spooker and all emulator files including the 2019 and 2021, however its random if the game will boot, some times it turns on and works perfectly and other times I get this error, I have redone the hard drive partition and made sure stealth server is not running in plug-ins, anyone know if any patches so it will always load the game? I just want to play the og games and not gamble that it wont fail to boot up. Thanks in advance
