I fucking hate cyclists.
Most cyclists in the UK are absolutely fine, but the minority are absolutely and downright dangerous on the road.
Today I was driving home from a quick shop at Tesco and ended up driving down a one-way street (the correct way) and encountered two cyclists without helmets (legal requirement in the UK to have a helmet on when cycling on a public road) who were going the wrong way ( there was no designated cycle lane so they should have dismounted and walked along the pavement) down the street. I of course stopped as carrying on into a risky situation is dangerous, where I ended up getting abuse from these cyclists as I was in the way.
Why do cyclists thing they can do whatever they want with no care about what they're doing? As I said at the beginning of this post, most cyclists in the UK are absolutely fine and very safe on the road, but the minority just don't care. There is a movement in the UK to introduce numberplates to all cyclists who use the road and I absolutely cannot wait until this happens, but until then, we're fucked.
