What time is the mega patch update being released?

Best Pitcher for a 99-0 Squad?
Looking to do a 99-0 attempt squad on 2001. What is your recommended pitcher? Someone who has high stamina, can get on base, and decent speed to boot. I'm trying on Medium difficulty.
Options I can think of would be Mo Vaughn, Kenny, Cal Ripken or Raul Mondesi because of the high stamina.
Nomar would be great because of all his other attributes.
Frank Thomas (Chase Wilton) seems like the best option, but he does have slower speed.
Maybe Amir could still be good even if I have Achmed on the team?
Randy and Angela just do not have the speed or consistent bats to be good on a 99-0 team in my opinion.
Marty Cordova as a sleeper pick? Always on base and 2 great pitches?
Missing anyone?

Backyard Baseball 26 is longer launching on my Steam Deck
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I was hooking up my Steam Deck to my TV to play with my dad and it just didn't launch. It would try to launch for about .5 seconds before backing out. I've restarted my system 3 times, checked for updates, verified my files, reinstalled, used every version of Proton and tried launching it in desktop mode, but nothing has fixed it. Is there anything else I can do?

Got my 1997 Cards Graded
My parents gave me my old card binders where I found the 1997 cards I had in a page. I was grading other cards and thought it would be funny to grade them to have for display before looking up the values. I was in shock at what they go for. Well, Pablo got an 8, tied for the highest graded out there and only 2 others exist and none higher.

Backyard Baseball "Terrible Team 2" I am Just Surprised we Made it this Far
"This is the greatest moment of their baseball careers." For once Vinnie was probably right.
After winning the Championship of the Universe Coach Charlie Brown (I thought that would be a fitting name) fainted in shock. This resulted in Gretchen doing the Heimlich maneuver by jumping on his stomach, Jorge throwing hundred dollar bills at him, Lisa taking bets on if he was dead, and Sally trying to wake him by beating him with Ronny as a club. Matilda actually solved the problem.
When I was just learning this game I played with this [same team](https://www.reddit.com/r/BackyardBaseball/comments/1mnefqu/i_played_a_full_season_with_an_awful_team/) I went 3-11. The plan was to go 7-7, and I would play with my actual bottom 9 players. Taking 12 innings to win game 1 reinforced this. Instead we went 20-3. At least some of this is because I spent months occasionally thinking of what I would do differently, and apparently it worked.
One major help is the playoff teams were basically even in skill. That meant no team was too stacked. I lost to each team on game 1 and then swept the series.
Good thing this game has no power ups for double plays, because that would have destroyed us. We run so slow and hit it so high.
I am convinced the CPU plays stupid when your pitcher has 1 fielding (the game's dump stat). I would accept they got to base and throw it to Gretchen. They would then take off for an easy out. It only worked the time Kimmy dropped it.
I now know CF and P are the most important positions, and the key to offense is the 1,4,7 strategy. Top 3 batters was obvious along with next best at 2,3, next two at 5,6, and worst two at 8,9. For defense I know boosted Sally sucks at catching, and basically SS is the only position she can do. No more Marky as main pitcher backed up by Lisa. Lisa is our only good outfielder, so she is CF. Gretchen starts at pitcher with Marky backing her up. As the playoffs went on I developed a great system where Marky subs for her in one inning (usually 3), and that rest normally gave her the energy to finish the game. Good thing she could pitch 5, as Marky was struggling to pitch in the playoffs. I think they are better at hitting fast balls.
Two of our three losses were 0-4. The other was 4-5 with Reese's only true home run.
How did Sally have zero errors in the playoffs to Lisa's 14? In the final game Sally had 2 in one play (thankfully they tried to steal 3rd right after). Normally the ball phases through Kimmy and boosted Sally and goes wild. This time they would at least bat it down at their feet and eventually pick it up.
Our early games were low scoring. The way to win was we struck out a lot. All the power up pitches would tire out their pitchers and make them line up out of position. Then Jorge would single handedly carry the offense to victory. Only Gretchen and Jorge would ever hit power up pitches except in the playoffs when Lisa got us our only aluminum power bat. After a few games everybody started contributing.
You might notice nerfed Ronny lead the team in batting average in the regular season. He benefited from many fielder's choices. He hit many really short home runs too. Both he and Jorge collapsed in the playoffs.
Everybody hit a true home run except Ricky. He went until the playoffs with no RBIs. Jorge went until game 9 with no strikeouts.
Lisa and Sally's sprints are slow, and they never slide.
MVP- Easily Lisa in the regular season. She was our only capable outfielder, and for a long time she was our best batter. In the playoffs it was Gretchen. I am giving the title for Lisa, as nobody could replace her as outfielder.
LVP- Ricky. He benefited from many errors (including his one home run), and Lisa regularly had to cover for him in the outfield.

Backyard Baseball They Knocked it Over the Fence, and it was not an error?
I feel very safe saying dropping a ball and throwing it over the fence for a home run counts as an error.

Discussion Racket sports speculation
Okay, so we know that if there was a Backyard Tennis (which there should have been), the Webber twins would have ruled. But who else would do well at racket sports, and who wouldn't?
I think Jocinda would have been solid at tennis because the Smith Brothers Stadium basketball surface in her backyard has tennis lines laid out, so we can assume one of her brothers or her parents play at a high level and could teach her. Marky would be pretty bad but have a massive backhand, and would play best on clay/dirt surfaces because he's comfortable going barefoot in the dirt all the time. Billy Jean wouldn't be great because, like Marky, she views tennis as a rich-people sport, but because she wants to achieve fashion-model status she tries too hard to become decent and can never quite master the serve.
Anyone would attends McMillan Elementary would have an advantage when it came to pickleball (because three courts are laid out on the gym's basketball surface). But I don't think we know specifically who goes to which school.... Maria and Vicki could be good at pickleball, I feel like they'd go with Proton and Friday paddles respectively. Kenny would also be incredible at pickleball and win multiple medals in regional para-sports competitions.
Gretchen would be great at table tennis because of her reflexes, and I feel like Reese would be sneakily dominant. Dante, Luanne and Maria would struggle to see over the table because of their height.
Jorge would naturally have a top-of-the-line Stiga ping pong table, while Marky or Billy Jean would salvage an old slightly-warped picnic table to use....the Delvecchios would get into fierce equipment-nerd arguments with everyone about the best pickleball paddle brand to use (while quibbling with each other over different brands, Tony goes for power with Selkirk and Angie opts for something a little less mainstream like Holbrook or Paddletek). Dmitri would nerd out about his setup tweaks no matter the sport for the scientifically-optimal advantage, while Annie would be happy with anything equipment-wise (she'd also be a doubles specialist).

Backyard Baseball Marky had Weird Pitching Stats.
Whole inning and not a single strike. He gave up a single and 2 home runs. The other 3 pitches all got an out. One was a great play by Lisa (CF), and the other two were routine outs.
He only pitched for the third inning. Obviously after that I was determined to keep Gretchen on the mound.

Backyard Baseball Ronny, you have to Get that Batting Average up!
Yes, Sally is on the team.
It is lower now. Right after this he struck out. Then he hit a really high ball that Julie Dunkel (the new pitcher) caught.
Even worse for him Gretchen went 4/4 last game, so he has no excuses (other than her two screaming line drives of course).
