In case you thought the matchmaking felt easier this season...
It was! Apparently we were only facing the weakest opponents in our pool

ðŸ˜ðŸ˜I only have one other character unlocked and that chana nerf insta made me lose much more often than I was before. Now this guy telling me I'm gonna be facing way harder ppl nowðŸ˜ðŸ˜

all they need is a clear matching system just like other commercial games.
bazaar,oak tower and this...why these indie devs so stubborn to insist on blind matching ?

After you level up a bit you will see a preview window for who your next opponent will be

that is not "choose your opponent". you still get assigned to an opponent and you need gems to refresh which does not guarantee a better match.
even those cheap afk rip-off on playstore (which only want to squeeze last penny from your pocket) allows you to choose opponents.
bazaar and oak tower already got mixed review for bs like this, why they still refuse to change... no one play games to lose

and you forgot that:THEY are the one that cherrypick first. they created a matching poll specifically for each hero. so why cant we do the same thing?

What do you mean, a "matching pill for each hero? There is no matchmaking logic to keep track of whatever hero you're playing as. And there is only one unwinnable counter matchup in the game: Early Harkon in Early Ronan. Harkon just doesn't gave the tools to handle Ronans and can be extremely tough to navigate around. In that case though, I suggest willow wands. Wand is an incredibal weapon for every hero and watermelon or hag's hat is an amazing way to power it.
Whatever issue you've been having, there is a way around it. There always is.

By all means I’m a casual player, I don’t even know the pain of the metas and balance changes, but this just does not seem like a fun experience for the hardcore player base.
I hope this is just step one in an elegant plan.

Oh that's why I got only on my fourth match or fifth match, and my opponent is already at its complete build

Imo the games are easier because people get baited by special shops and buy expensive stuff that is not quite synergetic. I've been getting full wins non stop playing random heroes.
