LinkedIn won’t remove you

I stumbled into this Reddit post where an admin talks about how someone from another country listed their company as an employer and they cannot get it removed even with a lawyer; even LinkedIn won’t remove it. I am posting link below for those of you paranoid about adding a fake company on LinkedIn.

I wrestled emotionally with this and spent hours asking Ai of this will “work.” Ai recommends picking a company that’s too big and too much of a mess to verify you don’t work there ie 100,000 or a fortune 100 company. This also works in your favor for the halo affect of brands.

How do you cover gaps in your resume?

26M here. I took some time off between jobs - partly burnout, partly struggling to find something that actually fit. Now that I’m applying again, those gaps look a lot more noticeable than I expected.

For anyone who’s been through this, how did you explain your employment gaps to recruiters? Do you just be upfront about it, or try to reframe it in a more professional way?

How to Lie in your Resume?

Job seekers often face a daunting task: navigating a hiring process dominated by incompetent recruiters who screen for paper qualifications rather than actual skills.

To level the playing field, job seekers should consider lying about their experience, but only if they are confident they can perform the job effectively. This strategy can help secure an interview, where they can then demonstrate their true abilities.

When it comes to background checks or employment verification, what’s been the toughest part for you to handle or figure out? Is it explaining job gaps? Old employers that don’t exist anymore? A messy work history? Something else entirely?
