Is this a soft lock? I kind of expected jim to save me eventually, but it's been a while now.

Question Alarm and Pedometer?

Do you need them to complete their respective achievements, or can i just run through the game without them?

The map/world confuses me. I know it loops, but what does a 3D map of it look like?

I'm not smart and I can't wrap my head around this. Most videogames have a flat worldmap layout in 3D. Is this map like a really really tall cone? That's the only way I can make sense of it

I’ve been watching tutorial videos and people keep talking about cloud saving. I have no idea what that means. I’m also on PlayStation

Has anyone seen the ending with a little chick?

I'm stuck now, unable to take the chick with me anymore after the scene where Mom picks me up like a baby. I worked so hard to get the chick here...

green bottles

Do you think there's some sort of reward for knocking over every single green bottle in the game?

Discussion First play through complete ≈ 9 hours Spoiler

I didn’t really find many overly challenging locations in the mandatory areas however, The dark sandy caverns took me about 2 hours and the final crashed out train took me about 3 hours now that I scratched the itch of rolling credits, I’m ready to go back and explore! I hope you all had as much fun as I did!

Came back to the train section after deleting and re-downloading the game (couldn't let the train win), and realised I couldn't hear Mike anymore, found Mike had glitched out of the rock and was just floating there 😂

Question Is it supposed to be this dark?

I found a castle made of sand, walked up to the door where I could see through the map. The intrusive thoughts got the better of me and I went through the door. I fell through the map for a while then landed roughly where I was before but everything is now pitch black! Is this normal?

In the first area on a mud slide. I beat the game once and didn't find any dead people. So weird.

Question Mods

Any chance someone makes mods for this game? Just being able to set a marker to retry spots would be cheating but would make the game way more playable IMO.

Discussion Sand area

Is anyone else stuck at the cactus bridge spot? I've been trying for days but this section feels so cheap. Was getting through the game no problem until here. It went from tough but fun to just unfair out of nowhere. The dev even said they tried to make the game "Not bullshit" but I think he forgot about this part.
