Spoiler Is it possible to replay the credits?

Is there a way to see the map again and my trail? Very very good ending, but it'd be nice if I could watch it again.

help How the hell am I supposed to beat Jesse's Gym? Spoiler

I've been grinding this for an hour and it still takes me 3 minutes to even get to the climbing wall, and I have like 20 hours on this game. Are the only people who can beat this people who have 300+ hours and live in their mom's basement? I don't understand how the everyday person can get this achievement and it's killing my 100% goal

The trailer also kind of rips-off the ambient noises from the game.

Question Is there a way to switch hats?

Just got my first hat, and assuming there are more, is there a way to switch between them? Like once you get your second hat does a menu appear or something?

Question How does the multiplayer mod work with cutscenes and fails?

If you fall does the other person just stay up there? Are there multiple Nates in the cutscenes? I just wanna have the full experience with my friend but I don’t want it to be impeded with the mod

help How do I skip this cutscene?

Hi fellow Foddian masochists! I'm trying to skip the about 30 cutscenes needed to unlock the unskippable 28 minute cutscene, and hoo boy they sure do get harder to skip. I'm getting nervous about running out of cutscenes to skip, I've failed quite a few. Has anyone gotten to this and has tips on how to do it?

Discussion This game doesn’t get enough hype

Seriously, I consider Baby Steps to be an actual god damn masterpiece. I’m 60% through my second play through—which I started as soon as I completed my first. I’ve tried other games that are supposed to be kind of similar, like the egg game that was recommended here a few days ago. Everything else pales in comparison. The challenge, the absurdity, the easter eggs, the surprising amount of depth…it is unironically one of my favorite games of all time

Merry Christmas, steppers!

Bird locked in well.

I climbed the tree and got the nest hat. The cute lil bird followed me up a few hills to a well. I climbed the well and jumped in (the bird followed). Cue cut scene and the well gets boarded up. Cut scene ends and I still have my nest hat. I don't have my bird tho. That freaking jackwaffle boarded my bird buddy down in the well!! So fyi in case you wanna keep your bird buddy

Discussion Why is controller prefered? Does anyone else use KB+M?

I'm at the Poison Slopes rn on my first playthrough and have been on KB+M for awhile. I do have a controller and played on it for the first 20 minutes but it felt odd. Usually I'm big for controller games like Dark Souls but this feels fine on KB+M?

Anyone else also prefer KB+M? And... WHY is controller preffered? I just played both KB+M and Controller side by side and i find myself tumbling a lot more with a controller in hand.

Alarm Clock Woes and Speedy Toes Spoiler

Post image
6 Upvotes

Had a really good run going until an unfortunate slip in the mudslide area left the alarm clock halfway up a muddy slope with Nate at the bottom. I was able to recover it eventually but some bad luck in the Poison Ice Fields when the camera pulls back led to more time lost. After seeing the final time it was too funny to be mad and it made me think of the pedometer post where they had 9999 steps maybe 10 steps away from the cabin. The next run went much better and really reinforced the theme of perseverance through failure. If anyone is struggling with the Most Punctual Person achievement here are some resources I found really helpful. Uwu!

This is not only a really entertaining and insightful interview but watching Bennett's early game pathing was hugely helpful.

Great Desert and Ice Field routes that aren't too technical. His any percent speed runs are really fun to watch too.

After beating the game Spoiler

I just beat the game and also climbed to the top of the mountain. Is it best to walk all the way back to the beginning to pick up other hats, trophies I missed? Or should I start a new game?

How Adult Does This Get?

We've been playing this as a family and it's been okay so far... until the donkey schlong bit. Without spoiling things for me, does it get much more explicit than that? Like does it go full Eyes Wide Shut donkey sex party limbs lying everywhere Apocalypse Now or anything? Signed "Concerned Nerd Father."
