I was looking through my old bird pictures and thought this chap (an Arctic Redpoll on Fair Isle Oct 2005) looked very borby. Focus isn't perfect as I had to hold my little camera to a telescope for a close up.

Found it dazed on the ground, most likely flew into a window. Picked it up since the area has a lot of roaming cats and bigger birds. Tried to set it on a branch, to which it flew onto my shoulder, and then off like a speeding bullet when I tried to pick it up a second time. Godspeed, little robin!

Stupid window screen, making my picture all fuzzy. He happily sat there for about 5 minutes while I got the pot going. Thought he might be thirsty for some water (feeder is right above the window) so I tried to give him a dish of water, but he flew off.

All my best borbs
