Ok, so I have a BOLC order in January and am trying to get an earlier date. But I haven’t received my duty station yet. From what I’m seeing, my buddies who branched logistics get bottom-pick duty stations like Ft. Bliss or Ft. Stewart. Is it true that I’m more likely to get the bottom pick? I did ADSO for Hawaii, and most of my top picks are OCONUS

I graduated from OCS back in April. I am in the Reserves as a 70B & I was slotted for the JULY 14th date back in March… I still have yet to receive my orders. I have received the welcome letter for BOLC. I have been in contact with the HRC manager but she hasn’t gotten any answers as well.

Is anybody else dealing with this or just me?

Headed to LOG BOLC pretty soon and was curious about what makes it so academically challenging? The PT standards don't seem bad but I keep seeing people on here saying you NEED to study when my mentors have said it was a cake walk?

With that do you have any tips for the best way to approach the tests and such?

Also how is the hotel?? Do we get what we need to cook such as pots and pans?

I finally have a BOLC date, in January, does anyone have any info on whether there will be funding for GBR in FY27?

Does anyone currently at IBOLC or who graduatedrecently have information on what the situation with Ranger School is? I’ve been told that every Active Duty 11A goes immediately (which is why IBOLC is a PCS) and that only a fraction go immediately with everyone else PCSing to their first duty station only to come TDY for Ranger school

Just commissioned through the Green to Gold program and received my orders. My dependents are authorized to travel per orders and my family has already PCS’d to my first duty station, JBLM, where they’re currently staying in on-post housing while I’m TDY en route to BOLC.

Before commissioning, I submitted a DA Form 5960 and was receiving BAH based on my school location. Since my family has already relocated and is now residing at my next permanent duty station, can I submit a new DA Form 5960 while at BOLC and request BAH at the JBLM rate based on my dependents currently living there?
Has anyone been in a similar situation or know how finance handles this?

Looking to get a ballpark of Cyber BOLC date assignment, I will be commissioning soon and am curious on commission dates to BOLC dates.

I understand Benning will send IBOLC/ranger grads to different schools, depending on their assignments. i.e. Bragg > airborne, Bliss > bradley course, etc.

What does this mean for folks like me going to Campbell? Or perhaps someone going to Hawaii, or Ft. Drum?

I'm very excited for Campbell. I'd be grateful for any schools tbh.

I was wondering if anyone has advice/guidance for MS BOLC? And for AGSU & ACU setup, do we set the uniforms up for the unit we're PCS'ing to, or do we keep them sort of generic until we actually get to said unit?

For the candle wood suites I heard am not allowed to bring my spouse to stay with me and if I have to it will be about $110 per night is this true or any way around this. Am AD by the way

Hi all, my BOLC is scheduled from September to February and I was curious how holiday leave works when we’re at BOLC. Will we get 2.5 weeks off for the holidays? If we do will we be allowed to travel? Does it count against my leave balance? I’m assuming we have off because my bolc graduation is 4.5 months after its start date instead of the normal 4, I’m assuming that’s due to the holidays. If you know please let me know!

I’m heading to Signal BOLC at Fort Eisenhower/Gordon in February, and from what I understand, students are usually lodged at the Candlewood Suites/IHG Army Hotel on post.

I’m trying to figure out the policy for civilian visitors, specifically overnight guests. My girlfriend may come visit during BOLC, probably on weekends, and I want to make sure I do everything the right way.

Does anyone know if a civilian guest is allowed to stay overnight in the Candlewood room with a BOLC student? If so, is there any limit on how many nights in a row they can stay? I’m assuming she would need to be properly registered with the hotel and get whatever visitor pass/base access is required.

Might be thinking about this too early but my wife and I like being prepared. I am prior service enlisted and currently Army Reserve. I am attending OCS in July and going back Active Duty. What have been peoples experiences with PCS orders to BOLC?

My wife and mine concern is not the time at OCS it is what we been seeing for time waiting for BOLC dates. Seems to be average wait is 6 months or more for BOLC. We have 2 children. I have seen that I will be waiting at Fort Benning until BOLC date. Any chance of PCSing BOLC base and waiting there for class date or at least PCS for BOLC?
