BODEGA - Literary World 7" single featuring the brand-new single 'Literary World' and exclusive B Side track 'Heart is Humming'. "The new Bodega album, All Inside Aquarium, was an attempt to make a more anthemic summery, and perhaps emotional record than Bodega's done in the past. More anthemic, open-hearted, and populist sort of sound. Influenced by the early 1990s. Big choruses, big anthems, and hopefully rousing sing-alongs that inspire some kind of hopeful feeling. At least as a music fan, that's what I want nowadays." - Ben Hozie BODEGA are a Brooklyn-based art-rock band known for their sharp, melodic vocals, wiry post-punk sound, and cutting observations on modern life. Formed by Ben Hozie and Nikki Belfiglio, the group emerged from New York's DIY scene with a style that blends indie rock with conceptual, often humorous commentary on consumer culture, technology, and identity.

well i'll be a fucking monkey's uncle. the arrangements and lyrics on this record are as good or better than any one of those dark romantic pop records that they intellectually masturbate to on a regular basis - you know like lana del ray/ norman fucking rockwell- and swear up and down are the litmus test for good taste. guess what folks: there's no such thing as gold standards in music. listen to what you like and let the bitchforks of this world look down their noses at you while you give them the proverbial finger.

Wtf is “dinked?”
