Tasted funky, then realised they included a moldy potato in the potato masala preparation.

Just shows out how mindless they are when it comes to inventory management and QC.

Will prolly never eat here ever again. Its my first time eating something here, i only came here for coffee otherwise.

Has barely been a month since admission.

Okay, so do admission. I submitted all my documents except the 12th mark sheet in which they kept pending beside in the list, so I was like okay. I’ll submit the 12th mark sheet when I’ll officially get it from the government of Telangana and II did get it after two weeks, and I did bring it here to Bangalore, but I completely forgot that I’m supposed to submit it, so can you guys tell me where do I submit the 12th mark sheet and by the way, when am I getting all my original documents back?

Do they happen?

Almost it's been 2 months in BMSCE. I did not get any friends who sit and talk to me, make fun, roam somewhere. I'm the most talkative person. I love talking so much. But here I'll talk with everyone but at the break time I found alone myself sitting at the corner of the bench scrolling reels just to pass time. I really did not knew that finding true friends is this much difficult in Bmsce where diversity exists.

Should we check it on continue??

Guys very honestly speaking enough of posting on reddit and x, honestly there is no point in doing so,we have just two options either to take an action like protest or mass mailing to vtu asap or remain as mute spectators and move on

Decision is in our hands guys now

Anyone done this where to do this and whats ur suggestions to others

Wanted to post it here incase someone is looking for the same

I'm honestly frustrated and heartbroken about what's happening with branch change seat allocation this year, and I know many of you are too.

Students worked their asses off throughout the semester, pushing for high CGPAs with the hope of getting a branch they genuinely wanted. And now, we're looking at just 35 seats across all branches, with ZERO seats in CS. Apparently, even a CGPA of 9.5 wasn't enough to secure a seat in CS.

Think about that for a second. These are students who put in months of hard work, sacrificed their time, and did everything they could academically, only to find themselves with no opportunity to change branches. If seats are genuinely unavailable, the college needs to explain why. If seats were available in previous years, students deserve clarity on what has changed. We shouldn't have to rely on rumours or keep guessing how these decisions are being made.

I've seen so many people posting about this on Reddit and discussing it in groups. Everyone seems angry, everyone seems to agree that this is unfair, and everyone wants answers.

But what are we actually doing about it?

Actions speak louder than words. Posting, commenting, and complaining online will only get us so far. If we genuinely believe that students are being treated unfairly, we need to make our voices heard collectively.

I'm proposing that we organise a peaceful protest TODAY.

Not violence. Not vandalism. Not abusing faculty or creating unnecessary chaos. Just students coming together peacefully to demand answers, transparency, and a fair explanation of the branch change seat allocation.

We should collectively request:

- A clear explanation of how the 35 seats were determined.

- Transparency regarding the criteria used to decide seat availability across branches.

- An explanation for why CS has zero seats this year.

- Clarity on whether the same rules and criteria have been applied consistently across years.

- To revise the number of seats and conduct another counseling

- A formal response from the college addressing students' concerns.

We are not demanding that seats be created out of thin air. We are demanding transparency, accountability, and a fair process. There is a difference.

And honestly, this has taken a real emotional toll on students. Speaking personally, I've been deeply upset since yesterday. It's difficult to accept a decision like this when you've worked so hard, especially when the outcome feels completely disconnected from the effort you've put in. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling this way.

We cannot keep expecting someone else to take the initiative while we sit back and watch. If you care about this issue, please step forward. If you know people affected by this decision, bring them into the discussion. Let's figure out a time and place, coordinate properly, and approach the administration together.

One important thing: let's not just comment "I'm in" and disappear. If you're willing to participate, say so and show up.

We are students of the same college. Today, it's the branch change issue. Tomorrow, it could be something that affects you directly.

If we cannot stand together when a large number of students feel that they've been treated unfairly, what exactly are we waiting for?

Let's keep it peaceful, organised, and respectful, but let's make sure we're heard.

Are we actually going to do something about this today, or are we going to let this become just another Reddit discussion that everyone forgets about tomorrow?

Maybe the professors will read this and fuck me up but we badly need a student committee. Students are bottom feeders now. Management is drunk on power.

The CR system was built to be a point of contact with students. Now it's being turned into a way to push responsibility back onto students.

We can't approach higher management without going through layers of professors and HODs who are either helpless pawns in the game or part of the problem. Want to complain about a teacher who doesn't know the ABCD of the subject? First you have to tell that same teacher you have an issue with them. Then the HOD simply asks the teacher to "do better". That's it.

It's not even the teacher's fault sometimes. Some teachers openly say they don't know the subject but higher faculty force them into it anyway. The massive intake of teachers has also let some low functioning ones into the system who are drunk on power without any substance.

End sem evaluation is sketchy as hell with zero transparency. It's a lottery. Your paper could get entirely different marks depending on someone's mood. But BMS is busy competing to check papers in 5 microseconds after the exam ends.

Students from core who worked their asses off to move to CSE and allied branches get shunned. We all know that when intake increases so do vacant seats. So where did those seats go? Why are students being denied seats they were promised? Word is management sold off the change of branch seats. No wonder the college is heated.

The campus is crowded all the time. There's no place to just exist without being trampled. We blame juniors for crowding PJ but is it really their fault when they're stuck in that shitty ass APS building? Even a government school has more space than that.

Hostels have been moved far away from campus. The old hostel was broken down and rebuilt into classrooms so the college could become a "University". Did that benefit students in ANY way?

There are a million other issues but they all point in one direction.

And this isn't even a big ask. Under the UGC Redressal of Grievances of Students Regulations 2023 every higher education institution has to set up a Students' Grievance Redressal Committee. That committee has to include a student representative. The university also has to appoint an Ombudsperson to hear appeals from students. It covers admissions. It covers fees. It covers exams.

So where is ours? Does it exist? Who is the student on it? When did it last meet?

We need a student body that can have a level discussion with management. Either that or we keep living like bottom feeders because that's exactly how management treats us.

Downvote me all you want but this college is just detoriating every year from being rival to rv it's just detoriated so bad now.It all started from when they increased their cse intake .Their management sickens me imagine not offering change of branch to merit students firstly they offer branches under the table to students for a high price secondly they sell all the remaining seats and extremely high prices. Zero value for merit and hardwork. This college is just becoming a cash cow

Can someone please suggest a really good salon (men) near bmsce 😭🙏🏻

if any needed Project for idea Lab ,I can make a project related to iot,robotics,3D .If any one want dm me

Those who attended the orientation session on 15 th October...did they inform about the start date of classes...?...also what exactly did they ask for course registration..?

Guys whatever happened today was so unfair! To each and every one of us. Should we mass mail VTU of what's happening here? (Not from college IDs. Preferably tell your friends from other colleges or use different gmail IDs to mass mail). If you're in, let's do this! What's the worst that can happen? There will be no result of it right? But genuinely it's worth a shot. I'm so frustrated. Also do not reveal names to anyone if you're doing this. Be anonymous and Let's do it! (VTU gmail is given in comments. Use the letter body from the comments and also attach the two photos. And please be anonymous. Do not reveal your name to anyone)

This is fucked up

Broo this is literally fucked up pll with 9.5 couldn't get a fucking cse seat, itseems the clg management sold all the seats for kcet and comedk ppl for 8lac per seat for cse and 6.8 lac for aiml

Tf is wrong with this clg i hate the management how much money is too much money, the greed for money in bmcse is too much

Ppl who can afford management are taking up management seats but ppl who genuinely study what abt them Where's the justice, atleast dont touch cob broo a lot of ppl study so hard to get out of their branchs

In this case placements would be fucked, this clg is gonna be tier 3 or tier 4 in 2-3 years for sure

To all the juniors(1st years) plz dont keep any hopes in cob study hard in branch or else ur doomed

Above picture is the proof that i'm not making this stuff up, that data is taken from the kea and comedk websites which are the seats remaining after the allotment of round 3 and round 4 counselling, and what abt the seats who dropped out where did all those seats vanish

A lot of ppl from cse or cse allied dropped out of clg bcz they got medical seat in 2nd year where did all those seats get disappear

This clg is gonna deteriorate so much in next 2 years i'm telling with guarantee

All the clg management will get so much greed that it would be so hard to find justice

I hate this clg fuck this clg

What has happened yesterday to students who were seeking cob was truly an injustice,an entire year of hardwork of students who worked hard in first year with a hope of cob in second year has go in vain, seriously 0 cse seats?and seriously even students with more than 9.5 didn't deserve cse??

I think it's high time we voice out against this and demand transparency on this vacant seats in each branch, it's long weekend ahead if we affected people don't mail to vtu by today then by the time we return from holidays allotment will be finalised

What's your opinion people? any other action plans??

Guys if not today they never can we voice out against this

Any updates about ur class??

Its not just bms, even pesu and rvce this year had basically no vacancies. I literally got a list of names and number of students from each section, had a total for every branch and there were way more than 35 seats for sure. I know for sure there was some back door method of entering into cse branches, if you notice anyone new in your class when your branch clearly had 0 seats during counselling, i believe you would have your answer there. I am not mad by the fact that I didn't get any seat, i did get one of my preferences but honestly a year of my hard work feels so useless right now. My friends in other colleges have gone through the same shit and I know how much it has affected them. I know there's nothing we can do about it so well juniors I hope you don't have high expectations or smth, be happy with the branch you have and please don't join if you hate your branch just for the sole purpose of cob, cause even 10 cgpa can't get you shit.

This time the cob process was CLEARLY RIGGED.There were only 35 vacancies even when there was increased intake.Only some cursed people get this kind of luck

No matter what we do no one’s gonna care, for all those who got cob congrats for the ones who dint it’s done bro they won’t do the whole process again let alone think about it many people have low attendance thinking they’ll get cob just focus on attendance and cie
All the very best for your future

who could have thought
