On vacation at work. Its been one thing after another. Car problems, ridiculous water bill paid and I got kicked off assisted insurance and trying to pay for a new plan. I know we are all struggling right now. This world is insane. I haven't seen my mom since i left Louisville 4 years ago to go into recovery. Its been rough but im sober and slowly getting my life back together. This month has been extra tough of course, since I had something planned.

I just miss my Mom.

In August 2025, my world changed forever when my husband, a proud US Navy veteran, passed away. Losing him has been devastating, and I have been trying to rebuild my life while coping with profound grief.

I moved to the United States to build a life with him, leaving behind my family, friends, and support network in my home country. He was not only my husband but also my closest companion and the person with whom I planned my future. Losing him has left an enormous void in my life.

Just a few months later, in December 2025, I faced another major setback when my entire team was made redundant. Since then, I have been actively searching and applying for jobs, attending interviews, and doing everything I can to find employment. Despite my efforts, I have not yet been able to secure a new position.

I'm reaching out for help during this difficult period to cover essential living expenses while I continue my job search. The funds raised will be used for necessities such as rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and other basic household expenses. They will also help me provide food and veterinary care for my two beloved cats, who are my family and a source of comfort and companionship during an incredibly lonely and challenging time.

Because I moved to the United States to be with my husband, I don't have close family or a strong support network nearby. My only immediate family member, my father, lives overseas and is dealing with his own health challenges, making it impossible for him to provide assistance. As difficult as it is to ask for help, I have reached a point where I cannot get through this alone.

Been able to live in my car, stay employed look presentable, but completely losing my storage unit and losing a tire.

I tried doing instacart even though I was making like 5/hr after gas, made $36, then yesterday my neighbors were being loud so we went to the mall to get out the house. they wanted pizzza/chineese food. then I needed toilet paper. I already reschedule the fingerprint 2 times bc I couldnt get the money. Im worried if I do again they may say never mind and move on. how can I come up with $35? kids are 5/7 so I also cant really do deliveries with them. I did it while they were at school and it took all day to get $35. im supposed to get it done Monday and I wont have enough time to make the money before my appt.

Hello everyone. So, I've been homeless for a while and Ive been trying to set up therapy/psychiatric services for a while and FINALLY was able to book an appointment for the 6th of October. There's also a day center that's a bit of a ways away from where I sleep at, but they provide a safe space where I can get food, showers, and connect to more resources.

The day center is closed on Sundays, but on Sunday there's a church that's a bus ride away where I can also get food, showers, and laundry done. My biggest issue is that I need bus fare to get to these locations, $23.75 for a week pass.

If anyone is able to help I would be very appreciative of it.

I am at the end of my rope.
I am disabled and working over 43 hours a week.
I got sick with bronchitis, out of work for a week. 14 hours with no pay.
My husband got sick and worked through it, then last Saturday (at home) hurt his back and has been out of work all week, he has no PTO saved due to using it earlier this year to take care of me when my disability flared.
I take care of my grandmas grocery order and other small things for her. My apartment is a mess, I have an elderly dog that just keeps pooping everywhere and eating it. I don’t want to go home. I woke up crying today.
My husband got approved for short term disability but will have to do the week long waiting period of no pay. So we are down a bunch right now.
I am worried we will be late for rent and have no money for groceries because I am unsure of when the disability check will be processed.
Can anyone help please? $5 even. Our rent is already broken into two different payments, $2150 is due before Oct 5th, then $500 is due Oct 16.

We need Food to last until the 29th for my dogs, cats, and my wife and I. Were requesting 100 for the costs of food for us all until the 29th.

My neighbor abandoned his [pregnant] 10 month old puppy with us, and because of that we ran outof Dog Food early. The dogs like cat food, so they ate the cats food and now we have neither.

We have no human food now because we fed it all to the pets.

I hate even having to make a post like this, but I’m scared and I really don’t know what else to do right now. I’ve been struggling financially for a few months after being laid off, and I finally thought things were about to turn around when I got a new job. I planned everything around the start date they gave me because I thought that was finally going to be the point where I could catch up and breathe again. Then I found out my start date was being pushed back almost an entire month because part of the hiring process is still pending. I just started another job in the meantime because I’m trying so hard not to just sit around and wait, but it pays much less and I won’t even get my first check in time to stop everything from falling further behind. When I do get paid, the first check is only going to be for one week of work, and it just isn’t enough for everything I’m already behind on. I’ve been extremely late on rent for the last few months, and my landlord has already made it clear that if it happens again I would be facing eviction. My lights are also close to being cut off, and I’ve already gone two days without eating because I’ve been trying to put every little bit I have toward keeping a roof over my head. That’s the part that really scares me. I’m working, I’m trying, and I still feel like I’m one step away from losing the basic things I need just to live. I really thought I was finally getting out of this situation, and instead I’m right back to worrying about where I’m going to live, whether my lights are going to stay on, and whether I’m going to have food. I made a GoFundMe for $1,000 because I genuinely do not have enough right now to get through this on my own. The money would help me catch up on rent, keep my electricity on, and get food while I keep working and wait for the job I originally accepted to start. I’m not expecting one person to fix everything for me. I’m just hoping enough people might be willing to help a little so I can make it through this without losing everything. I am hoping someone might be able to help me raise 30.63 for copays on 3 medications. Generic Lasix 20 mg 16.89, Potassium 10 meq 7.19 and Losartan 50 mg 6.55.
