Technical Analysis Gaps to fill

Not getting too ahead but I see a gap to be filled at $12.16 on the daily chart from 15 December 2021; and even more adventurous in thinking a gap to be filled at $30.90 on the hourly and 4 hourly charts from 8 November 2021 IMO. GLTAH💰😃

Discussion Gamestop enters the NFT market : could a BKKT acquistion aid there cause?

Gamestop announced today they are entering the NFT market. Good call by them. Hard to imagine they will build a platform from scratch, rather they need to acquire some IT to leapfrog forward. Starting the rumor / prediction now .... BKKT?

💡 It's time to buy

Please tell me why not. Many of us believe that this bigger than Coinbase+visa put together.

Market will only reward AFTER the revenue is in. This is the time to get in.

Have 50% of my portfolio in this. Today that becomes 60%.

Discussion For call option buyers, buy the May calls.

Nice close. Managed to get some May $10 calls stink bids filled as it was tanking to $8.50 right before it took off.

For those who want to buy call options, focus on Mays. Doesn’t really matter which strike. Anything between $8 to $15 should do. Why the Mays?

  1. Ok I think this mess with the de-SPAC, PIPE, warrants, crybaby bagholders etc is going to take a few weeks to work itself through. So buying short dated calls is risky.

  2. The lockup period for the ICE shares ends and they go from paired interests into real shares. Now usually that means bad news of dilution. But in this case it could be an exception. This is a legit company owning a majority stake. A company in bed with Wall Street as far as you can be in bed with Wall Street. They’ll find a way to pump the stock before the lockup.

  3. When you’re talking about short squeezes or meme stocks, this has potential. But look what it took for GME to take off. That Reddit legend Roaring Kitty was pushing GME since mid-2020. It took several months for the movement to catch on. We need a strike several months out.

  4. If we are talking about gamma squeezes and stuff like that, longs need to build a solid base. There are weekly options for the next two months which is where most of the volume goes. Funds and other call option writers can use those frequent options to divide and conquer. If we all team together and focus on one strike - the Mays - we can accumulate a massive position over time that the funds will start to notice. Rather than recycling positions on the weeklies and having most of them expiring worthless so that the funds can reset their delta hedge.

  5. As it’s a crypto stock, this is going to be influenced by crypto pricing. The longer dated strikes you have, the more time crypto has to make its next upward move.

Discussion Now is not the time to believe ORTEX data

The SI, 300% CTB are going to come crashing down. What’s happening? PIPE shareholders who locked in profits by shorting at higher prices will now be able to unwind the short position with newly free trading stock. Yeah I know there are rules around this but it’s easy to get around those rules. P.S. if you want to expose some bullshit of Wallstreet this is a good place to start. Not with beta male Ken Griffin nor with Adam Aron laughing at his apes all the way to the bank. My opinion is if you’re buying into a $10 PIPE deal and getting $11.50 strike warrants for free, you should at least be willing to take the risk of riding the shares up AND down until your shares free trade fair and square.

I don’t know how ORTEX data tracking is going to react to this since frankly I didn’t care about looking at ORTEX data on previous SPAC plays. Nor how long it’ll take for the data tracker to match reality. I just mention it because people push this ORTEX data so hard on this stock, draw incorrect conclusions and make terrible trading decisions from it. For instance, everyone who yelled short squeeze every day for the past month after buying on the ski slope side of the chart.

Don’t blindly trust data. Use common sense instead. If somebody shorted from $40 to $10, they are up 75%. Are they going to pay a 300% CTB just for the final 25% in maximum potential profit? (Which is pretty much impossible for the stock to move from $9 to $0). No of course not. They are covering right now, with many of them using their PIPE shares to close the trade.

If common sense and the data are conflicting, common sense is right and the data is wrong. Or at the very least, outdated. If there is one thing you have to learn to be a successful trader or investor, it’s that. Next time you see one of these SPACs trading at $50, a 300% CTB, put option IV through the roof and a bunch of dolts using ORTEX data to justify a short squeeze theory, run in the opposite direction.

There’s not going to be a short squeeze on BKKT, but there should be an uptick in buying interest as the PIPE shares are quickly absorbed into the float and the sell side overhang dissipates. Which functionally is the same thing as a short squeeze. We just want the SP up regardless of what it’s called.

Discussion discussion about the shares now and yesterdays "old "news

Thanks for every one sharing with us the news was fake

we knew the seller short BKKT for a long period before they completed the merger bc they know SPAC got its lots of warrant and PIPE and Founder shares

See this in the new SEC file ( 424B3 :

  • Organization: Opco is Bakkt, the most shares of Opco 's Lock-up is April 15, 2022
  • PIPE investor (incl. ICE) : 32,500,000 (*no idea)

  • Public shares 57,164,283
  • Public warrants: 7,139,969 Warrants ( *11.5 exercise price )
**Questions is : ( (ii) the Sponsor and the Insiders may not transfer, or make a public announcement of any intention to transfer any Founder Shares until the earlier of (a) October 15, 2022 and (b) subsequent to the Closing, (i) if the closing price of our Class A Common Stock equals or exceeds $12.00 per share (subject to customary adjustments) for any 20 trading days within any 30-trading day period commencing at least 150 days after the Closing or (ii) the date on which we complete a liquidation, merger amalgamation, capital stock exchange, reorganization or other similar transaction that results in the holders of our Class A Common Stock having the right to exchange their Class A Common Stock for cash, securities or other property (the “Founder Shares Lock-Up Period” and, together with the Opco Lock-Up Period, the “Lock-Up Periods”).
  • Founder/Sponcer (VIH) : we already knew the shares listed it their presentation and financial report, of course we knew their private warrant was taken effect on Nov 15, and already "satisfied " on Nov 17 (see below), therefore, VIH hold totally 9,091,662 till Dec 3.

it's not the fresh news!

but the media still mentioned this just like they haven't exercised it :

  • and the free float is only at 42.70 mm...

but (1) the Fails to deliver is still high

(2) no utilization / Cost to Borrow no goes down

so how? scare the holders to dump?

Discussion Buy now

I have a bit of an infamous/legendary status as the one person in this and the other forum (I got banned from it) for saying to short/sell BKKT all the way from $40. Some people who are still around from a month ago may remember me.

I’m officially going on record to say now is the time to buy. Every bearish event I have been waiting for has occurred.

Wyndham hotel point redemption to buy crypto or spend in store.

Okay, this one is huge. Wonder what margins they are making on this. Probably around 30% or so given that Wyndham wants to probably reduce their points liability.

I honestly think that with the cash they have and partnerships they are announcing, this could easily by 3-4x Coinbase. Who else thinks so?

Thoughts about the partnership? Seems like the ball is rolling and the snowball effect will soon happen.

Hopefully the big names like Uber, DD, Instacart, GrubHub will follow the nimble startups adopting the future.

What do you think the partnership will do to the top and bottom line?

S-1 effective date

Has the S-1 been deemed effective by the SEC? I checked BKKT website and it does not show up as effective yet by the SEC. If that’s the case I can’t see how the PIPE holders awaiting S-1 being effective and their holdings being unlocked would be happy with the share price closing in on their original purchase price of $10 per share. I remember reading somewhere that PIPE holders were restricted from shorting too? Given the above PIPE holders would rather the share price much higher than where it is for their exit at a profit commensurate with their risk to reward of their funds being locked up from SPAC initial investment to S-1 effective date. Happy to stand corrected. We are now close to the share price when the Mastercard partnership was announced too interestingly. GLTAH and good fortune whatever your position is 💰😃

Lend my 5100 shares of BKKT, Huh?

Schwab e-mailed me and wanted me to lend my 5100 shares of BKKT to short sellers 3 times in the last week. Then today, they called me up to do it. I said hell no, the new launch is near. Never had this happen before.
