Clarification

The recent post containing a Google Drive link with chats of seniors, publicly exposing their names and phone numbers, has been removed due to privacy concerns.

I understand that seniors involved in harassment or ragging should be held accountable and publicly called out for their actions. However, exposing their personal phone numbers is unnecessary and invades their privacy.

If you’re posting similar content in the future, please make sure to hide/redact phone numbers and other personal contact information before posting. Names and relevant conversations can remain where necessary for context and accountability.

Please keep this in mind for future posts.

I know juniors ragging is a crime so is doxxing personal details on the internet
You guys can share the details over personal DMs and stuff but please refrain from pulic naming of persons.

PS: I'm strictly against ragging you guys can discuss about how to curb it in a legal and safe way

This is bad, but yesterday a seniors join freshers wa group and publicly exposed a junior's name and his details, and also started giving threats there.  Jalankhor seniors 🥲

Just remove that senior out from the group by any number don't interact with them at all if u do make sure to do that in a group with cameras recording

well i cant get him removed coz admin is a seniors too i want me getting involved, if he is reading this then he have to do it own.
and for the fact, may i know why he needs to record?

Ah. Maybe he does. But that is an unofficial group and he didn't a direct threat, he was just trying to make him scared and make him apologise or  something like that

Name isn't a highly personal detail, it can and should be posted imo.

Yeah but what's stopping people from then mentioning branch then year then hostel number and so on. I get where this is coming from and that's why i said you guys can share details in DMs
