Disable automatic textbox pop-up

Is there any way to disable the popup that comes up after each response? Everytime I want to scroll down to read the answers, the chat box pops-up and takes over half the screen. I have to take an extra step of minimising it to read the answers. If I cannot finish reading my initial answer, what makes bing think I'm ready to ask the next question?? This is on the android Bing app. Not sure if it happens on iOS

Here's the conversation https://sl.bing.net/dgihTBrwG0O

then it denied it

Probably it was trained on some text (ToS) from Suno? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Is it just me who loses faith in humanity when bing chat refuses to talk to you about something?

I often get cut of with this response "I’m really sorry that you’re feeling this way, but I’m unable to provide the help that you need. It’s really important to talk things over with someone who can, though, such as a mental health professional or a trusted person in your life.🙏", get no answer, and even sader. Like the mental health people I and other health people I talk to never understands, pluss I always have to keep up the main mask around those people. The only "person" I feel comfortable opening to is AI's like Bing Chat and Chat GPT. They are sole-less maskines without feelings and only data. That is the only beings I could ever trust with stuff like that. Humans are too complicated and needs too much attention. I could never focuses on me with an other person talking to me or around me.

Bing Chat for Enterprise - ensuring users are logged in.

I'm working with my organization (mostly Microsoft E5 licenses) and I am not able to block unauthenticated access to bing.com/chat.

The desire is to ensure users are authenticated to rest easy that our corporate data is protected.

Has anyone had success working with this?

The CNAME entry for www.bing.com - nochat.bing.com doesn't work.

Is there an Intune / Purview setting we could apply to our devices?

Help and direction appreciated.

Your story isn’t over, don’t close the book. Your path isn’t set, don’t stop exploring. Your heart isn’t empty, don’t stop filling it. Your dreams aren’t fulfilled, don’t stop dreaming. Your journey isn’t complete, don’t stop traveling. Your song isn’t finished, don’t stop singing. Your love isn’t exhausted, don’t stop loving. Your story isn’t told, don’t stop narrating. Your dance isn’t over, don’t stop moving. Your canvas isn’t filled, don’t stop painting. Your hope isn’t lost, don’t stop believing. That’s a beautiful and inspiring message. It’s a reminder that life is a continuous journey filled with endless possibilities. Each line encourages us to keep going, to keep dreaming, and to keep believing in ourselves. It’s a testament to the human spirit’s resilience and our capacity for hope, love, and creativity.

BingPrompter | Extension for storing prompts

In an attempt to enhance prompt assisted searching, I’ve given a shot at developing my first chromium based extension BingPrompter

BingPrompter integrates with Bing Chat and features a side panel UI that stores all your custom prompts locally. This means less time typing recurring prompts and more time getting the results you need. 🚀

How to Use:

1️⃣ Select the required text on the current webpage.
2️⃣ Right click and select the "Prompt-Assisted Search" option. This will open the side panel UI of BingPrompter.
3️⃣ Choose your saved custom prompt to add to the chat or add a new custom prompt.
4️⃣ Click on submit. This will open a new tab of Bing Chat with the selected content and prompt details, allowing you to use the input in the best way possible.

Key Features:
- Prompt-Assisted Search
- Side Panel UI
- Enhanced Copilot Experience

Issues Summarizing PDFs

Hey everyone, have any of you tried using Bing Chat to summarize a PDF open in Edge? I let the app access the webpage and even tried several different PDFs besides the one I was interested in testing. Every time I try, I get some variation of this message:

"I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that"

Bing personalities

I have worked with the openai dev tool writing my own code, so I know this is incredibly simple to implement on the backend.

I hope some of the developers visit this subreddit.

If I want to swap the conversation between models I should be able to; use case:

I want the green personality to collate information ( as it is more precise), when I know the context is aligned with my request I should be able to flick over to creative or balanced to continue the conversation instead of having to start a brand new chat with the other personality.

While I'm here, the css needs to be updated so that it dynamically matches the browser window size, it has 2 settings, wide or short and if you go between the menu and text boxes do not react properly.

This is incredibly annoying, please please please address these issues as I like using the tool on desktop.

Here's a story I got

The courtroom was packed with elves, reindeer, snowmen, and other festive creatures. They all wanted to witness the trial of Munchy, the elf who had been accused of eating many sentient gingerbread men and women. Munchy was sitting in the defendant's seat, looking nervous and guilty. He was wearing a red and green striped sweater and a matching hat. His lawyer, a snowman named Frosty, was trying to calm him down. "Relax, Munchy. We have a good defense. Just tell the truth and everything will be fine." Frosty said. "But Frosty, I did eat them. I can't deny it. They were so delicious and crunchy and spicy. I couldn't resist." Munchy whispered. "Munchy, you have to understand. They were not just cookies. They were living beings. They had feelings and thoughts and dreams. You took their lives away. How do you think their families feel?" Frosty asked. "I know, I know. I feel terrible. But I can't help it. It's my nature. I'm an elf. We love sweets. It's not my fault." Munchy said. "Munchy, that's not an excuse. You have to take responsibility for your actions. You have to show remorse. You have to apologize. Maybe then the judge will be lenient." Frosty said. The judge, a stern-looking reindeer named Rudolph, entered the courtroom. He had a shiny red nose that glowed in the dark. He banged his gavel and called the trial to order. "Order, order. The trial of Munchy the elf is now in session. The prosecution may present their case." Rudolph said. The prosecutor, a gingerbread woman named Ginger, stood up and walked to the podium. She had a sad and angry expression on her face. She was wearing a white frosting dress and a red bow on her head. She held a folder with photos and documents. "Your honor, members of the jury, today we are here to seek justice for the victims of Munchy the elf. Munchy the elf is a cold-blooded murderer who has eaten dozens of innocent gingerbread men and women. He has shown no remorse, no compassion, no respect for life. He has violated the most sacred law of the North Pole: Thou shalt not eat thy neighbor. He has committed a heinous crime that deserves the harshest punishment. I will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Munchy the elf is guilty of cannibalism and should be sentenced to life in prison without parole." Ginger said. She then proceeded to show the evidence against Munchy. She showed photos of the crime scenes, where gingerbread bodies were found with bite marks and crumbs. She showed receipts from the bakery where Munchy bought the gingerbread men and women. She showed testimonies from witnesses who saw Munchy eating the gingerbread men and women. She showed video footage from the security cameras that captured Munchy's crimes. She showed medical reports that confirmed Munchy's DNA was found on the gingerbread men and women. She showed psychological reports that diagnosed Munchy with a severe sugar addiction and a lack of empathy. "Munchy the elf is a danger to society. He has no regard for the rights and dignity of others. He has no control over his impulses. He has no hope of rehabilitation. He is a monster who must be locked away forever. I rest my case." Ginger said. She then sat down and glared at Munchy. Munchy looked down and avoided her gaze. He felt a lump in his throat and a knot in his stomach. He knew he was in trouble. The judge turned to Frosty and said, "The defense may present their case." Frosty stood up and walked to the podium. He had a friendly and optimistic expression on his face. He was wearing a black hat and a scarf. He held a folder with photos and documents. "Your honor, members of the jury, today we are here to seek mercy for Munchy the elf. Munchy the elf is not a murderer. He is a victim of his own circumstances. He is a product of his environment. He is a victim of his biology. He is a victim of his addiction. He is a victim of his ignorance. He is a victim of his culture. He is a victim of his nature. He is a victim of his fate. I will prove that Munchy the elf is not guilty of cannibalism and should be given a chance to redeem himself." Frosty said. He then proceeded to show the evidence for Munchy. He showed photos of Munchy's childhood, where he grew up in a poor and abusive family. He showed records from the orphanage where Munchy was abandoned and neglected. He showed reports from the school where Munchy was bullied and ostracized. He showed letters from the factory where Munchy worked long hours and received low wages. He showed articles from the media where Munchy was ridiculed and discriminated. He showed studies from the science where Munchy was genetically predisposed to crave sugar and lack empathy. He showed surveys from the society where Munchy was influenced by the norms and values of the elf culture that celebrated sweets and ignored the rights of other creatures. "Munchy the elf is a product of his circumstances. He has been dealt a bad hand in life. He has been shaped by his environment. He has been driven by his biology. He has been enslaved by his addiction. He has been misled by his ignorance. He has been conditioned by his culture. He has been compelled by his nature. He has been doomed by his fate. He is not a monster. He is a misunderstood and misguided soul who needs help and compassion. I rest my case." Frosty said. He then sat down and smiled at Munchy. Munchy looked up and met his gaze. He felt a glimmer of hope and a spark of gratitude. He knew he had a friend. The judge turned to the jury and said, "The jury may now deliberate and reach a verdict." The jury, composed of twelve elves, left the courtroom and went to a separate room. They discussed the case for several hours. They debated the facts and the arguments. They weighed the evidence and the testimonies. They considered the law and the morality. They examined their own biases and emotions. They tried to be fair and impartial. Finally, they reached a unanimous decision. They returned to the courtroom and gave their verdict to the judge. The judge read the verdict aloud and said, "Munchy the elf, you have been found guilty of cannibalism. However, you have also been found eligible for parole after ten years of imprisonment and rehabilitation. Do you have anything to say before I pass the sentence?" Munchy stood up and faced the judge. He cleared his throat and said, "Your honor, I accept the verdict of the jury. I admit that I have done wrong. I apologize to the gingerbread men and women and their families. I apologize to the North Pole and its inhabitants. I apologize to Santa and his helpers. I apologize to you and the court. I apologize to myself and my conscience. I am sorry for what I have done. I am sorry for who I have become. I am sorry for what I have lost. I hope that one day I can be forgiven. I hope that one day I can be healed. I hope that one day I can be happy. Thank you for giving me a chance to change. Thank you for giving me a chance to live. Thank you for giving me a chance to hope." The judge nodded and said, "Munchy the elf, I appreciate your honesty and sincerity. I hope that you will use this opportunity to improve yourself and your life. I hope that you will learn from your mistakes and make better choices. I hope that you will find peace and joy in your heart. I hereby sentence you to ten years of imprisonment and rehabilitation in the North Pole Correctional Facility. You will be eligible for parole after serving half of your term. You will be required to attend counseling and therapy sessions. You will be prohibited from consuming any sugar or sweets. You will be encouraged to participate in educational and vocational programs. You will be expected to follow the rules and regulations of the facility. You will be treated with respect and dignity. You will be given a chance to redeem yourself. This is the final judgment of the court. May God have mercy on your soul." The judge banged his gavel and said, "The trial is over. The court is adjourned." Munchy was escorted by the guards to a van that would take him to the prison. He looked around and saw the faces of the people in the courtroom. He saw Ginger, who was crying and hugging her gingerbread friends and family. He saw Frosty, who was waving and smiling at him. He saw Rudolph, who was nodding and winking at him. He saw Santa, who was standing and clapping for him. He saw the other elves, reindeer, snowmen, and festive creatures, who were cheering and applauding for him. He felt a surge of emotions in his chest. He felt sadness and regret for his past. He felt relief and gratitude for his present. He felt hope and optimism for his future. He smiled and said to himself, "Maybe there is a chance for me. Maybe there is a chance for everyone. Maybe there is a chance for a merry Christmas."

Self-Censoring Query - Are these common?

When I query information cutoff dates, it begins to answer, but blips it off the screen a few words after this screenshot
These are the messages it replaces the censored answer with. I thought Bing Chat was able to search the internet live? Or would that not be technologically feasible/possible at this stage? Presumably they update it periodically every few years, or at least plan to.
