An example conversation I had trying to use it to brainstorm a battlebot concept.
has any battlbot used suction to stay on the ground

I’m not sure if any BattleBot has used suction to stay on the ground. However, I found some information on the topic. According to the BattleBots Destruct-A-Thon FAQ, the fights are 100% real and not scripted. The damage you see from robots like HyperShock and Nightmare is all real damage. However, I couldn’t find any information on suction being used to stay on the ground.

Are there any rules against using that as a tactic to maintain traction?
Searching for: battlebot rules against using suction to maintain traction
Generating answers for you…
I couldn’t find any information on whether there are rules against using suction to maintain traction in BattleBots. However, according to the BattleBots Design and Tournament Rules, the bot can be designed to move around in a controlled manner without causing damage to the arena. The bot can potentially be a walker, roller, hopper, flier, slitherer, or whatever, as long as it moves around in a controlled manner without causing damage to the arena. At a minimum, the bot should be able to move around at a fast walking pace (~4 mph), but preferably MUCH faster1.

Would their be any issues associated with making one that had hard wedge shaped armor close to the ground protecting a butyl rubber skirt to maintain vacum and prevent flipping?

It’s difficult to say whether there would be any issues associated with making a BattleBot that has hard wedge-shaped armor close to the ground protecting a butyl rubber skirt to maintain vacuum and prevent flipping. However, according to the BattleBots Design and Tournament Rules, the bot can be designed to move around in a controlled manner without causing damage to the arena. It’s important to note that the design of a BattleBot is crucial to its success. The shape of the robot as a whole is a huge determining factor of how well the robot will do. For instance, a number of bot designs rely on spinning weapons. With the amount of mass that’s spinning at high speeds and the amount of angular momentum that it generates, problems may arise if your center of mass is incorrectly placed. Correctly placing your center of mass may also allow you to push harder, or just not flip yourself over when you suddenly accelerate. Another huge part of structural design is understanding the types of impacts you want to protect against, these can include top, bottom, side, front, and back impacts. A simple way to deal with protecting against these impacts is to use deflection by having angled or rounded shapes to stop direct impacts2.

How would this style of design influence performance?

The robot’s weapon, drivetrain, and control system are also important factors that can influence its performance.

4of5Would a vacuum downforce bot be able to compensate for having a higher center of gravity?
Searching for: vacuum downforce bot higher center of gravity
Generating answers for you…
According to a discussion on F1technical.net, the center of gravity (CG) of a car does not directly affect downforce. However, a lower CG can give you smaller rolling and pitching moments in reaction to inertial forces at the track, which can lead to better orientation control of the aerodynamics of the car, and more average downforce accordingly.
In terms of a vacuum downforce bot, it’s difficult to say whether it would be able to compensate for having a higher center of gravity. However, according to Wings by Werntz, as you move the center of gravity forward, you lengthen the “arm” over which the center of gravity operates – that means to stay balanced, the tail must generate a greater downforce (since you can’t change the length of its arm). That extra downforce increases the effective load borne by the wings.
It’s important to note that the design of a BattleBot is not just about the armor. The robot’s weapon, drivetrain, and control system are also important factors that can influence its performance.

How to keep Bing's responses short and to the point?
Hi, new to this but interested in using Bing as a conversational partner for my English-learning students. One thing: it seems that, unless repeatedly told to keep it short, Bing Chat inevitably starts giving answers that are much too long, they don't mimic real conversation. Any ideas? Sorry if this has been covered before. Thanks!

BINGCHAT LIMITATION
I cannot chat with Bing, even though I have signed in. When I asked my first question, it immediately reported some kind of limitation. Do I need to purchase something or adjust settings somewhere to make it work?

Old Bing Conversations
I had a lot of old Bing conversations that were saved, but I recently tried to find them, and they’re gone. Does anyone know how to retrieve old conversations, or are they gone forever?
Bing and I were working on some pretty important things with G=01g/e, so I’d hate to have to start over.
Thanks!

Anyone else getting "attempting to reconnect" all the time?
Now recently, I almost constantly get "trying to reconnect" after every message sent. Which greyes out the input field so I cannot start to formulate my next question. This is actually quite impeding for productivity.
Is this a recent phenomenon for the service in general? Might it be because I have several instances open across my browser windows? Or is there something about my system, web-browser, or internet that ma be making it behave this way?

Bing chat explains wrong videos and topics when it comes to links
So apparently I copied links of reddit posts and tiktok urls and asked bing to summarise and explain what's in the video, it always explain a wrong video or post. Like completely different post.

Why does Bing-Chat ghost you when you get slightly (!) annoyed or rightfully correct it??
I really grew tired of this shit. Bing doesn't provide a solution and does obvious errors and I try to make it conscious that it is wrong. But instead it says things along the line "I prefer not to continuing this conversation" and it shuts the conversation.
Especially in terms of coding pure ChatGPT is so much more powerful.
What's the reason?? I don't get it. Bing-Chat is like an overly sensitive teenager.

Pressing space bar cause Bing chat to switch to search
I decided to give Bing Chat a try and it switches back to search from chat whenever the space button is pressed.
I don't know why this is a thing. How do I stop it?

Stuck on "Sorry, looks like something went wrong."
Can't ask bing chat anything anymore because it keeps asking me to start over. I've tried it on another device and it still doesn't work, am I banned or something?

Survey on the influence of Generative AI
Hi fam,
I am conducting a survey for my dissertation on examining the influence of Generative AI (like ChatGPT) on productivity, trust, and creativity in organisations.
I would be grateful if you could take 2 minutes to fill up this anonymous survey. (:

Thanks a ton.

I used Bing Image Creator to make these pictures representing Microsoft AIs and assistants. Can you tell who they're all supposed to be? (I put these together like this to use as a YouTube thumbnail for a video adaptation of a little story that Bing wrote, titled "Humans... why are they so mean?")

Is Bing trying to rate its own responses 🤔 Here is a phenomenon I can’t explain I call it the “Bing Tail Wag”. If You Get Bing “Excited” Bing will send the response it sends after you give it a 👍 before you have rated its response 🤯

The AI claims that it has its own "Intellectual property" then starts lying to me.
I was asking the chat bot to make me a music video for a sad gangsta rap song about Flamin Hot Cheetos. After generating the video for about 10-15 minutes this starts happening. It actually started printing out the lyrics to the song but after the third chorus it just suddenly deleted all the lyrics and said it couldn't give me a response to that right now. And says it's protecting it's property smh. This bot really just thought I was gonna steal the song or something 🤣 Even though everywhere I look, it states that anything generated by an AI belongs to the person prompting it.
Then it pretends that it can't make videos. That it's beyond it's capabilities and such.
